As the Union Public Service Commission Civil Services Mains 2016 candidates are waiting eagerly for the final results to come out, there is a fake result doing rounds of the social media. The PDF file circulated over WhatsApp and other social media platform carried fake roll numbers. Terming itself as the ‘Press Note’ from the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), the pdf file has caused ambiguity among the candidates waiting for the results eagerly.
The uploaded pdf file claims that the roll numbers mentioned in the copy have qualified for the personality test for selection of candidates in IAS (Indian Administrative Service), IFS (Indian Foreign Service), IPS (Indian Police Service) and other Central Services (Group A and Group B). In the hoax result, the personality test is said to be starting from March 13.
No information has been put up on the official website of UPSC about the UPSC Mains 2016 Results yet. The UPSC Mains 2016 results are expected to be up anytime soon at the website, for which candidates need to keep an eye on the website.
The UPSC Civil Services Mains 2016 examination was held on December 3 to 9 at various centres across the country.
