The union public service commission National Defence Academy has started the process of recruitment for the Army, Navy and Air Force Wing. To recruit the cadet, the NDA will conduct a written examination followed by an interview. The official website for detailed information is https://upsc.gov.in.
To appear for the examination, the candidate should first fill in an online application form and submit it on or before September 3, 2019. The cadets should pay a fee of Rs.100 to get the application form, but in case of an SC/ST cadet the application is free of cost.

Eligibility Criteria:
- EDUCATION: The cadet who is willing to serve the nation should have completed standard 10th and 12th compulsorily and also, they must have learnt Physics and mathematics in their 12th grade.
- PHYSICAL: The candidates who want to join the army should have excellent physical and mental health. He should have a built-up chest which should not be less than 81 centimetres. The minimum height, which is accepted is 157 cm. The candidate should have a clean medical history and should be free from any disease. Also, eye check-up will be done, and he should have a very clear eyesight.
- AGE: The age of the candidate should be between 15 to 18 years. The candidates who are even a month older than 18 will not be eligible to apply for the UPSC examination. Also, only unmarried male candidates can appear for the Naval Academy examination.
Selection Process:
Minimum qualifying mark is fixed by the UPSC board, and the candidates who score the qualifying score will be selected to appear for the Intelligence and personality test following which the results will be announced.
