Now that you know your likely score, a big congrats to all those of you who have done well. And to those of you who have not done so well, do not lose hope and do not bother too much about the expected scores. These expected scores are completely speculative; so do not consider them to be final. Do not lose your confidence. Hope for the best! Do note that there are loads of good colleges available through the JEE Main exam. In fact, last year, many of the NITs actually had some vacant seats at the end of the seat allocation process.
So, even if you are not very happy with your performance in the JEE Main, do not be too disheartened. This is not the end of life. Do not waste any time in worrying about your performance in the JEE Main. Start preparing for other entrance tests.
Analyse your performance in the JEE Main and identify those areas/topics where you need to put in some more effort. Revise these areas thoroughly. Also check if your expected score is near the predicted cutoffs for eligibility to appear for JEE Advanced 2015. If yes, then you need to fully focus on preparing for this exam. For example, General category candidates who expect to score above 110 have a good chance of being eligible for JEE Advanced. Similarly, for other categories too, if your expected scores are close to our predicted cutoffs, then you should start preparing for JEE Advanced immediately. You only have about one and a half months to prepare for this exam. So, do not waste a single minute.
Finally, if you are still feeling dejected and demotivated, do note that success always comes to those who do not give up. If you keep working hard, you will do better in future and will definitely achieve success.
Do you remember the story of the spider that never gave up??
Well, if you don’t, here is a short version of the tale. A king lost an important battle and
was sitting, dejected and disappointed, in a cave. He saw a spider building its web. It kept slipping as the
cave was dusty and moist but it refused to give up. It tried over and over till
it succeeded. The king learned a valuable lesson from the spider and went back to the battlefield and eventually defeated his enemies.
The moral of the story is that you should never give up hope. Keep working hard and you will succeed.
All the Best!!!
