No, you need not select your specialization at the time of applying in Welingkar!

Hello,

I will be applying to the PGDM programme 2012-2014 but I had some questions regarding the application form.
1. If in between during filling of the app form, i feel i need to probably save and resume filling it at a later stage is that possible? Or do I have to fill in the form at one go?
2. And I need to download the final form only after everything has been filled in except for the essays correct?

Secondly, for work experience proof, at a later stage(GD/PI rounds) do I need to submit a work ex certificate? or will the following documents suffice :
1. Offer of Employment letter ( at the time of joining)
2. Latest Compensation letter
3. Latest Pay slip

3. What are the different essays in the app form?

Kindly let me know.

B.tech-60% with one backlog.
i am a fresher n provided i clear my backlog by the time gdpi rounds are held...n score around 90%ile...do i stand a chance to get a call or convert it into enrollment.
kindly please reply seniors n other puys who may know anything about this.

no.. specialization is chosen later on, not at the time of application.

backlog wont affect your chances. give ur best shot during gd/pi.

3.genuine proof will be sufficient at that stage.

4.weakness, strength, goal, interest etc. questions are simple, dont worry but try to be true coz u may be asked questions based on ur replies at the time of Interview.

can someone throw some light on last year's cut off for cat/ mhcet score for OMS candidates

Calls are profile based. Cut off cannot be generalized.
For CAT 88+ & mhcet 95+, can get u call.
However last year many applicants with percentile more than 90 in CAT were not called for gd/pi.
As mentioned earlier, calls are profile based.
