I applied for this program but no confirmation yet.. Did anybody get any email?

Is the criterion of 3yrs work ex very strict. Presently I have 2.5 years. Please confirm this

Really great and excellent opportunity!! I have just filled the application form. Thank Mayank for letting us know about this. But, I have a few queries.

1.As of now, I have 2 years 9 months of IT experience which doesn't come under their preferable experience. How much problem could this create? Will they straightly reject my application?

2.Looking at your status message, I feel you got placed into ICICI.. So, although you have gone through PGPSM rather than PGCSM, have they considered you as PGCSM graduate.

3.We haven't received any email after registration. Do we have to contact them?

If the application process allows then go ahead, and let them decide.

Thnx Mayank for providing such a great information.I wanted to ask you two question (1) Is this programme is same as PGPSM and secondly..since you are in PGPSM,if someone does not have 60% marks in graduation,does it create any problem also in appearing for placement interviews in companies which comes in NISM campus(This is specially pertaining to PGPSM,as PGPCM already asks for 60% marks in graduation level),please reply.

I have applied but still waiting for intimation. I have also emailed them but no reply yet.. I hope the admission process should start atleast in May last week.

Considering their performance in NIIT MBA course, I am sure they will send a exam invite in the last week of May. Sai, were u active in MBA thread too.

I was not aware of mba program at that time. work ex - 3 yrs in IT .

Missed this thread quite a lot..didn't knew that any seperate thread is there for NISM ..Well i had applied on 8thMay and still waiting for any confirmation from ICICI.There website says the shorlisting process will start in second week of may which is already over..wrote a mail for which still awaiting a reply...well one of my friend who has joined NIIT 2yr MBA prog has told me to be patient..thats what the bottomline is if u wana be with ICICI.

Could it be a possible reason that the number of applicants are not as many as the bank anticipated. So they are waiting for more candidates to apply.

Well thats the only genuine reason i can think of.Also many people do not know about this programme since its only there on there website..haven't seen any ad or so elsewhere...just keeping my fingers crossed that they do not scrap the whole idea and programme due to this.
I have overall 5+ years of workex in IT Banking domain(ICICI group company) and presently with PSU Insurance firm.

Dear Vivek,

Dun worry, they won't scrap the program. PPL with such deep pockets do not think abt few crores (It's a change for them) instead they think abt more their name :P.

I guess thats good for us Puys, if they are not advertising much. Few candidates less competition. 😛

Well my guess is that it should be more or so on the same guidelines at the one for NIIT prog was but u never know, but in any case it will be aptitude with no specific advantage to anyone.M too waiting for anyone for specific deatils abt that NIIT prog aptitude tests...anyone with details , kindly share..
