This Year's cutoffs are :-
- 80 percentile in VA, 80 percentile in DM, 90 percentile in QA and overall 90 percentile.
Last Year's cutoffs were :-
- 60 percentile in VA, 80 percentile in DM, 70 percentile in QA and overall 70 percentile.

Is anyone aware about when would XLRI be releasing list of shortlisted candidates (on the basis of GMAT score) ??

Can seniors presently pursuing the Global MBA help us? Are there any on Pagalguy? It is a request for the BM and the HRM seniors to connect us to the GMBA seniors, since they would help us in a better way. If I read it right, the brochure says people with work ex are shortlisted. I am a fresher but I have been shortlisted. Are there any freshers in the GMBA batch? Can someone connect them to me(us)?

Many aspirants are asking about the internships/live projects in the program. So here's a brief snapshot of the internship/live projects associated with this course w.r.t. to each institute:
1. Tongji Semester: In this we had several company visit wherein students got the opportunity to visit large manufacturing plants in different industries like Food packaging, Commercial work wear, Cosmetic, Financial Consultancy etc. So you get to know more about how companies work in China along with their missions and goals. We had a submit a detailed analysis of the company's operations along with current and future challenges mentioning appropriate solutions.
2. XLRI Semester: In this we will be having a 3-4 week full-time internship (non-paid) in various companies like Tata Steel, Tata Tin Plate, Tata Motors, Timken, Cummins etc. In this the batch will be distributed in mix-nationalities with their choice of domain (like finance, marketing, operations etc). B the end of internship we have to submit a full report for it. Along with it, we have company visits also in various companies to get detailed knowledge of company operations.
3. Case Western Semester: In Case, we will be given a remote project in association with a professor and will span across the whole semester. We can communicate with company executives to find more insights about the company to get the project completed.
So, instead of just getting 1 internship and consequently getting learn only about 1 company, the GMBA students a variety of exposure in various domains and sectors. Not only we experience difference related to company target and market approach, but we gain more insights about the company's culture, work-force, work environment, market approach and many other things. I hope this was helpful for many of you.
@XLRI-GMBA .. Now that the cut off has been released as 710. Was curious to know if there will be any further gmat cut-offs released for the GMBA programme. Also, what is the number of people shortlisted for further GMBA application process on the basis of this cut off?

My interview for Global MBA was on 10th March; I think I did well. Can anyone tell me about the tentative dates for the results ? Also, please shed some light on the placements. I called Adcom, they directed me to Global MBA Admissions Office/concerned person. She replied that they are still discussing about the placements internally. I hope you understand that it is important to know about these details before investing.

Any update about Global MBA Results ?
I have got final convert for XIMB Global MBA 2014. Total expense will be around 46900 Euros i.e appx 38 lacs. Here they will be awarding degrees( Master of Global management) from all 3 institutes i.e Fordham US, Antwerp Belgium and XIMB. Candidate can be part of placement at all 3 places. Batch strength is only 60 ( 20 from each country)
Should I join this as I can afford the expenses. Please provide your frank opinion.

Hi.. Still no updates about the final results ?
Are there any seniors on this thread who could shed light on the GMBA results/Placement expected/ program quality etc. The quality ought to be good since it is XLRI, but just that the information for this course is(understandably) a little hard to get. Any pointers appreciated!
An Update: I called AdCom today; they said that the results (of both GMBA and BM/HR) are prepared and will be uploaded on the website anytime till 10th April.
Seniors, when does the GMBA start. Is it june 15 like other courses or is it in august with first course in china?.. WiIl there be WL and what was the movement last year?
