I had given CAT-14 , and my score has been quite pathetic to be honest. Just 66 percentile . I'll be frank , i did not put any effort on a continuous basis to crack CAT and could only attempt less number of questions. I want to start again from March 15th for CAT-15. what should be my ideal strategy from March 15th ?

I am a workng professional. I am about to start my preparation for cat2015. I gave cat in last 2 years but got avg score. I can devote 3-4 hrs on weekdays and 6-7 hrs on wknds for preparation. Kindly suggest some strategy for the prep. I am weak in quant.
I am a working professional and started my preparation for CAT-2015 a month back. I am spending 2-3 hours daily for CAT preparation. But my problem is i am unable to track my progress.being in a town there are no proper coaching institutes here.So plz suggest me useful online test series topic wise.
Hi Sir i am a working professional with 2yrs of IT experience given cat 3 times with very mediocre percentiles - 32(2012) , 52(2013), 82(2014). Though my recent attempt was really the attempt i prepared for I am really confused as to how i should plan my preparation .My 2 years of exp will become 3 years once the next cat exam comes and with so much experience it is really a Do or Die Situation.Verbal and DI are my weak areas and Quant is above average but need to improve on speed.
i have a question that many of us may struggle with and my question is :
does experience of more than 2 years (around 3-4 years) prove to be a hindrance in cat and even in B-school during placement and gives a tough time to fight for the desired job,. If yes, then any suggestion from any of the veterans on what to do (or is it better to go for GMAT than CAT) ?
P.s. I have the same old story ( I.T. experience in a Fortune 500 company)
Thanks. PG has been great with all these efforts to help us. Thank you for all this 😃

CAT-2014 - 92.53%ile.
I would like to have guidance regarding the following things:-
1) In CAT 2014 I attempted around 36 in QA. I got around 94%ile ,which clearly shows that my accuracy was not so great.During my mocks , I felt that my speed was very average while attempting QA. There is always a trade-off between speed & accuracy in my case. So how to ensure that I am able to improve upon both my speed & accuracy ? During the start of this journey for CAT-2015, what should I concentrate more on, speed or accuracy ?
2) Gauging from my performance in mocks I felt that VA was my strength but after attempting 42 in VA in CAT-2014, I was able to manage only 83%ile. So here also my accuracy was pathetic to be precise. RC & PJ are my strengths and I generally leave all the questions related to Grammer. So Will I be able to manage to score a 99%ile+ in VA without Grammer or I have to pay attention to that too ? If yes , can you suggest how.?
3) I suck at solving LR's (Medium, D level ones). I am able to solve them but I feel I am too slow. I had solved a lot of cases in the 2014 season but I still feel that the speed is not improving. What can be done about that ?
4) In the 2014 season I had soved BYJU'S material, some TIME material and Arun Sharma. For this season should I again solve the same materials or should look for something new ?
5) Would like to have some suggestions from you regarding which Test Series to join. Had joined TIME in 2014 and felt that it was no where close to the real CAT. Will be joining two this time.
Also looking forward to any specific suggestions which you would like to give to people like me who are about to begin there CAT journey again.
PS: Will not be joining any regular coaching classroom program.
I had given cat 13 during my final year of graduation without any substantial prep and got 72%ile( QA & DI 47%ile and VA & LR 86.46%ile) converted XISS and a couple of NIT's.. Currently am working in a software MNC and due to work engagements couldn't give cat 14.. please suggest me a road map for cat 15. I want to improve my QA&DI and my aim is to bag a seat in the best business schools of the country and nothing less. Should i take up any coaching during weekends?? My acads are : Xth(91) XIIth(76) and Btech(6.6 cgpa)
