Allo Junta! :)

There have been so many suggestions and feedbacks to us , but they tend to get lost. Partly because these suggestions are PM'd to us or because of time constraints. Most of the time they get lost into threads I don't even remember how to get back to

So this is the all new suggestion/feedback section that is being introduced to the forum. Let us make it mutually beneficial because I believe we still have a long way to go and need to evolve as necessary :D

Get cracking and yes, keep it feasible

a) option of user id change pls
b) while on a thread,at the bottom of the page, related /similar threads appear......but sometimes they are kinda unrelated......can we do sumthin abt these?
Cheers
Mru

PS: will keep editing if i remember sumthin else .

nice move pg;introducing new sections for discussions. but an honest suggestion would be to change display profile name instead of modifying other details

Here is one suggestion that immediately comes to my...sorry "moi" mind

It has been seen that a lot of newbies do not know where to look up for information and consequently start a lot of new threads for topics that are already being discussed or have been discussed in the past. So why not start a thread where any newbie who wants some info can post his query and the senior members who have been on the forum for long or those gifted with the ability to search for any kinda thread can provide a link to the already existing ones where the noob can continue.

Will help the noobs and reduce the amount of redundant new threads which are creeping with alarming regularity.

Eg: someone started a thread asking what to pack for hostels. This had already been discussed in detail in a previous thread. It was just a question of providing the link.

Hey eddy,

dont we have a thread for it? "New on PG..lost"
1)I suggest we should bring that one on the FRONT PAGE itself
2)MBA in india - this section contains lesser sub sections than MBA abroad...seems kinda wierd

EDIT - No. of sub sections in 'MBA in india' = No. of sub sections in 'MBA Abroad'..Still looks a bit DETAILED on the front page....can club 2 sub sections in 'MBA Agroad' section

HEY PG....

i also subscribe to the suggestion that mik has given.....

the forum is looking in expanded mode....

is there any chance the size of it could be reduced......

the early one was better i think....

try and condense a couple of sections into one if it is possible......

Rahul

me second that

Hi

What about deleting all unwanted(locked) thrds. we have quite a lot when results are declared?

Make it mandatory for people to name the trds properly with correct punctuations and never use .... or !!!!!, and also use Caps at necessary places, the 3rd class English Grammar....

Will chip in later if I get some tips and suggestions...

ciao

I second this... though may be relaxed in chit-chat n interests sections... as they r meant to 'relax n unwind'

PG its getting increasingly difficult to identify similar threads across diff sections. i even identified the same thread in two diff section.

Plz do something about it

dai, did you mean 3rd class English grammer as in " 3rd class fella" or as in "primary school english"? :-)

Changing of UserNames is a feature that could be brought back!

Dear PagalGuy....

well....the link www.pagalguy.com/cat.......

if it was made to www.pagalguy.com/mba........

u could redirect users or make an offical annoucement.......

well from 2002 sep....... early 2004 cat was the sites main focus...but pg has evolved to universal mba....so why only patornize CAT.....

for the simple reason....this sites deal with MBA the world over..... not IIM's and CAT related institutes......

i have marketing idea's too...tht i will give u in private if ur cool wit tht ....

I want PG to host a new forum for Puzzles. Here each Thread would represent a different puzzle. This would make sense for the CAT section too. This year in quants we had at least two questions which qualify for puzzle.

Adding to that I think most of the intellectuals out here will be quite interested in logical/probability/game_theory puzzles. When I try to search for puzzles i get some hits in Exam resources forum and few hits in Quants forum, but I feel we should have a seperately dedicated forum for that. I wanted to start a lot of thread on different puzzles for diverse opinion but I don't find an apt place for that. What do you say ??
