SRM Institute of Science & Technology (SRM IST) at Kattankulathur, Ramapuram, Vadapalani, Delhi-NCR, SRM University at AP Amaravati and SRM University at Sonepat (Haryana) offer nearly 206 programmes in fields such as Engineering and Technology, Management, Medicine and Health Sciences, as well as Science and Humanities.
In the Engineering and Technology stream, SRM institutions follow the IDEAL strategy. Interdisciplinary Experiential Active Learning (IDEAL) is a programme that allows students to pursue a UG degree with a specialisation or a minor course. This strategy is used to help students improve their skills in their core subjects. Students can tailor their course and curriculum to their specific interests. The course and specialisation differs depending on the institution. As a minor course, students can choose from any engineering degree. The following is a list of engineering courses available, as well as specialisation and minor courses. Any combination of major, minor, and specialisation courses can be chosen by the student.

They will hold the SRM Joint Entrance Examination-Engineering (SRM JEEE) once a year to enroll students in their various UG and PG programs. The application forms have already been distributed. Both online and offline applications are accepted for the SRMJEEE exam. The exams are taken entirely online. The SRM Joint Counselling Committee for Admission (SRM JCCA) will be in charge of conducting admissions counseling for all six institutions for B. Tech, M. Tech, and Ph.D. programs.
SRMJEEE 2022 Exam Date
In most cases, the SRMJEEE exams will be held in April. However, before the first week of March, the applications will be available online. It is the responsibility of the aspirant to keep track of it. The SRMJEEE (UG) exam will last approximately 10 days. Each test center’s SRMJEEE exam date will be announced later. The candidate should book their exam slot as soon as possible to ensure that they get their preferred test center and session. There will be no changes to the exam date or location once the jury has made its decision. The dates to remember for UG and PG degrees are listed in the table below.

SRMJEEE 2022 Result
The results are the most anticipated aspect of the admissions process. On April 30, 2022, SRMJEEE results (Phase 2) will be available on their official website. At the same time, the counseling date will be announced. The merit list will be compiled using the scores obtained in the SRMJEEE UG exams. The results will also be sent to the candidate’s registered email address during the application process.
Their 12th-grade exam score must be calculated and rounded to three decimal places. When applying for admission, it should not be rounded off to the nearest integer.
Admission Process
- Admission is solely based on the SRMJEEE UG exam results.
- A merit list will be created based on the scores and published on the website.
- Following that, the candidate will be invited to participate in the counseling process.
- Counseling is handled by SRM JCCA.
- The jury will decide on the course vacancy based on availability and demand.
- At the time of counseling, the candidate must present valid original documents. If there is a discrepancy in the document, the candidate’s admission process will be terminated, even if they scored well on the entrance exam.
- When the candidates have decided on a course, they must personally enroll in the institute with their original documents (Birth certificate, mark sheets, etc).
- Using the hostel facility is only possible if all fees, including tuition and hostel fees, are paid in full at the time of admission to the institution.

SRMJEEE Cutoff
The cut off mark is the minimum score required to qualify for a course. The university will soon update the cut-off mark on their official website. The cutoff is determined by rank. It is the last seat available for that course. The number of candidates who take the exam, the difficulty level of the question paper, and the demand for that particular course all influence the cut off. Each campus’s and each course’s rank is different.
During the counselling, the number of seats available will be determined based on demand. As a result, the cutoff will not be the deciding factor. Because it is a deemed university, the jury has the authority to determine the number of seats available in each course as well as the course itself. The university will announce the cutoff mark as soon as the results are released. The 2016 cutoffs for each course and campus are listed in the table below. The 2018 cutoff will be announced on the official website in the near future.
