Hi Dude. When I called the office yesterday, one of the office staff told me that the office won't function on Saturday & Sunday. So, U may call them on Monday to get the acknowledgment.
puys.... a few posts back someone said 'bout 38 seats in OC.. in that case wouldn't a 34 waitlist converting be highly improbable.. bit worried about this.. hope someone can throw some light on the matter

Yeah Dude.. The number of seats under OC category is 38. But the WL moved till 73 last year. This can be attributed to the high CAT score among OC candidates(the cut-off for OC was around 94.5, this year). Since almost all OC candidates wud have scored more than 95 percentile, the chances of their converting the calls from institutes like IMT, IMI, NITIE and even IIMs is very high.. Add to this, the Colleges coming under XAT, SNAP, JMET etc. Lots of them prefer these higher ranked colleges to BIM.. Hence the WL for OC category moves quite considerably. So, based on previous years' trends, I would say that You have a VERY VERY HIGH CHANCE of getting a seat in BIM. ATB.

by when r the waitlisted who convert expected to submit the certificates.......... i cannot apply for my migration certificate unless I know the university to which i am movin.. n after that it takes about a month to get it.. would I have time enough for that...???

Add to that the movement within the waiting list. Some people in the waiting list would have declined their waitlisted offer making it easy for the others.If your waiting list number is N and many people in the first N-1 waitlisted candidates opt out, you get to move up several notches in the WL.
