wat was the waiting list movement
today i got a call that i was selected.
i was waitlisted in BC .(BC WL 1)
When I called them up today,they said status will be known only tomorrow as they expect few more students to turn up for registration tomorrow. I was originally at WL 3 (OC) and have moved up unofficially by one place.
114 have registered on the first day ... 6 are yet to get filled..... will try to get some more info.....

As far as I know, in OC it has moved till 38, in BC till 45. No idea about OBC and SC/ST.

Yesterday and day before,the registration process happened and the persons at waiting list number 1 in each of OC and BC got a call from the institute about their admit. If your WL number is 1, keep your fingers crossed for they would call you once a vacancy arises.
Got a call from admissions office that I am selected. Will be joining.

i sent 5k to BIM to be in WL... as the admissions are freezed when will i get my amount back? i have to send a request to them r they will automatically send cheque to me?

In the interview call letter, it is mentioned "In case, vacancy does not arise and the institute is unable to offer you admission the deposit will be refunded to you". Which means it is an automatic process which they will initiate in a few days time and you need not send any request or reminder.
Mods, Academic sessions are underway and going by the current scheme of things, I am sure there will be no more movement in the waiting lists. This thread can be closed.
