hey friends,how can fill GDPI date. i pursuing my Bsc(Agriculture) which is a
four year course but in DAF there is no option for it.
i am qualified for HR,GL & SE. so how can fill 10 box of DAF about any other
master degree programme. plz help me:-(

the income certificate asked for related to family income. n yes u are supposed to send in your father's inc certi if he is/has been key earning member of ur family. its ohk u dint sent it earlier..its wasnt asked either, but Detail Application Form is meant for assimilating as much as info abt u, thru it, which cudnt hav been possible in earlier OMR sheet form
so chill, n if still thoda panicky then fill 1-2 extra copies of form for practice, before filling the final draft

plz note that u are not required to send in your original documents along with DAF. be it inc certi or mark sheet or NSS certis. U are required to send in copies of the docs.
Those who havnt got yearly marksheets, yet can attach their till date marksheets n write "awaited" in rest columns. Kaloobhai hs already given u the reqd info on marksheet
(i guess all final sem/year marksheet show your sem-wise/year-wise marks..plz do attach dat too) wel Kaloobhai did
GD PI dates are generally shown in ur electronically generated results (chek ur results agn), once u qualify.U are also notified by TISS on ur cell no. provided in OMR sheet, abt ur GDPI dates (but that can be late sometimes).
So if none of this has happened...then plz do contact TISS admin. abt wat to fil in ur GDPI dates, as i am not aware of any such provision of having GDPI dates by Choice till date in TISS Admission Procedure...but dnt put it urself, plz ask admin. and no i guess, thr is no First-come-First-served system in TISS. in cases of ur unavailability they MIGHT adjust ur gdpi date...bt in any such instance, its better that the concernd person shud inform and ask for the provision as soon as possible...
For cases, whr ur course is not mentioned, either strike off N.A course name n write ur bacherlor/mastrs degree name, or add one entry in the same column..as it is paper-form (rytly pointed out by one of u..gr8!!)
for gap-year or year of discontinuance..plz mention the period and those u didnt wrk in this pd, shud ryt the reason..generally a year gap ppl have written...prep 4entrance exam n blah blah blah (ur call, plz ryt relevant reason)...

cud you also explain the profile to be written and enclosed (mandatory) along with the DAF!
Also the result link on http://results.tiss.edu/MyResult1012.asp is not working.. the dates were sure not mentioned at the time of declaration of the results.. also didn't get any sms as well.. so seems calling up the admin offc is the only way.. 😃

for ppl who qualified for more than one course...super congratz...n plz look carefully at sec 10 of DAF..u need to tick yes in sec 10... n then simply mention courses other than HRM in 10.a n 10 b. these sections are put up in DAF, so as to make sure dat none of ur gdpi dates clash...
so chill
on acc of how to fill...
m nt very sure of wat can b the best ans..but u can ryt abt u n ur family backgrnd
ur future plans, interest, etc... basically SOP

Would it be a bad idea to get the SOP as printout
as it wud be a separate sheet as it is..cuz it is the most important qs and wud carry a lot of weight in interview plus my handwriting is what's been called unreadable by all my school and colg teachers :oops:

In the DAF form we need to mention the date of th GD.Have the dates been alloted to us. In the results I could see only quailifed for GD PI nothing else. Or are we to give date of our choice.

One question always bothers me as to what is so special of this course(MA HRM LR) in terms of the competiton for the seats. is there a specific way how the course content is designed?? out of 59 seats how many seats are reserved for SC category students??please reply

1. TISS gives one of the best HR programmes in the country. (Second best if you must; XLRI PMIR beng the best.)
2. Plus, it is an HR specific course, unlike other colleges, which make us learn marketing/ finance/ supply chain/ IT/ Systems et al.
Tiss included these things oin its curriculum, but the emphasis is much more on the core HR topics.
3. Location.
4. Mind blowing placements!!!
