Be careful if they ask you which other calls you have, and your preference:
TISS is pretty notorious for the question: "XX college or TISS?"
And the MOST dreaded question.. "WHY So??"
Be ready with a strong reasoning, as to why you want to join TISS.
And Prof. Anusha from TISS had warned us about some profs. at the Institute being really Touchy about the reputation of the college (and rightly so, its a great college u see..)
So if you say ull choose MDI/ XIMB/ SIBM/ IMT etc. over TISS, youre hurting yourself.. and if you blatantly say youll choose TISS be prepared for some hard core suspicious grilling!!

after posting i just called tiss adm dept and theey said that i need to mention exam and give roll number. Thou she dint looked confident with the reply and was asking me only as to what proof I can give. Have you marked YES and given only exam name like CAT..or mentioned registration number alongwith..

Aur haan.. i have mentioned only CAT and XAT, and not the plethora of exams i have given. ;)
You dont need to give any other information like the roll numbers etc, as it in no way determines your candidature in TISS.
If they needed that, the form would have asked for it...
My question may be off the topic but I want to know about accommodation as this would be my first trip to mumbai i want to know availability of hotel near TISS.
Bangalore puys can we plan a meet up this saturday.Time somewhere in the afternoon,say at around 1o clock.How about garuda mall?Do drop in your suggestions so that the location and timing is conducive to all.

In my opinion garuda would be too crowded to facilitate any discussion,perhaps we could assemble there and then go to the coffee-day nearby.1'o clock saturday seems fine.I am hoping more short-listed candidates come forward.

hey..am in a fix :-??...in the SSC column of the DAF page number 2, what should i fill in the year attended column-- 10 year like 1995 to 2005 or only one year 2004-2005 (for 10th class only?) I think it;s teh former, but then in the marks column we have to fill the marks we got in 10th! Can somebody HELP? :D

i have filled it to be 10 years from 1991 to 2001 and then 2years for intermediate that is HSC.
