Hurray!!Qualified For GDPI
I had also given Snap and applied to SIIB. i didnt clear their cutoff.
the director of the institute had put a message to the ones who had not qualified
As "It is said that as one door closes another opens. I am sure other opportunities await you"

Here opens the door from TISS!!!

Where had v got our registration no. moreover my admit card was also submitted at the centre.


Hi namrata and all those who forgot their registeration number,
Just search your email id inbox which u mentioned in the application form.when you ll be able to download your 'hall ticket' den it will ask for your reference number.:cheerio:
After entering your ref. no. the hall ticket will get visible and u can get your registration number mentioned on that..:cheerio:..
Hope it may help all the queries regarding registration number??

Hi,

I too have qualified. Most of the people who have posted here have got calls. This is quite different from what happened with the Symbi instis. Lets hope for the best.

By the way, what is the number of calls that TISS gives each year, and what is the conversion ratio?
Any rough idea?

Last year, 432 people got a call for GD/PI for 54 seats.
The Gd was on an Hr case study. Please go through last years thread to see what were the case studies asked

here are some tips from my side
1. Please be aware of social issues. Frontline was what i referrd to
2. Please be ready with a very strong SOP. you can start working on it from now
3. Read magazines like human factor, buisnessworld to get a grasp of HR concepts. It will help you in your GD and PI.
4. be ready with questions like why hr, why tiss and so on.

Prepare well. ATB

hey...do they ask or rather test ur knowledge on Hr concepts at the interview level? Would really help if you could share your GD/PI experience
