this is irrelevant i know, i have sent it. but i still can't see where is it written we need to attach it with the daf. it's said a copy is to be carried when we come for the GD/PI......

What is "PROFILE WRITTEN IN A PLAIN PAPER{COMPULSORY}" as mentioned in the list of enclosures, 11th point, in the 6th page of application form????????????
Is it the same as biographical sketch? or is it a resume?
Kindly let me know about it, as last date is hell nearby and I need to speed post it. I will call up TISS as well. But if anybody has an idea, please advise.

i had called up tiss on this issue...they said profile and the biographical sketch are the same......you can also call them if you want..
everyone in forum looks relaxed as they have already got admission in tiss or will get admission just by sending .........DAF...........all puys beware DAF is important but not that it is all.......ur pi covers 70 marks and ur gd 30.so,start preparing from now.......it's only23 days left for d day.........

I guess many of you puys would already be knowing this but i thought i will just post it again for everyones benefit.
Before the Tiss everyone is warned that if the faculty doesnt see a group emerging from the discussion the whole group will be disqualifed ie wil get 0 marks.
so a fish market is strict no no in the tiss GD and those people who have a tendency of going on speaking wihtout letting others do need to watch out as well.:D
i would like to share something with u puys as those who had attended the pre-coaching classes would be knowing that....
on our mock gd/pi date ...we were told that:-
1 we must not create fish market
2 we can give our gd/pi in hindi but whereever felt necessary...not through out as books we will read will be in english.so,we must know english....for the sake
3 we must have prior knowledge of our work,working environment,company.working in,for work ex. people......and knowledge about subject....for freshers
4 we must know about some hr basics,national and international news and events
5 we must have our own ideas and thoughts on our gd topic....as they may ask conclusion of gd in ur pi and ur thoughts about the same...
6 u could be asked about a virtual situation....in ur pi
7 ur motivation for the course
8 be prepared with ur answers about ur strength and weakness....
9 if they ask u for any thing u wanna ask don't ask for feedback.......
now for gd:-
1 keep eye contact with all not with anyone while speaking and don't look reserved.......
2 don't look towards panel .....gives wrong impression......
3 don't give false answers or data...
4 don't be aggressive during gd
5 don't comment on others and don't look here and there...in room
6 don't specify anyones point as wrong as that may become true at some stance
7 don't argue with anyone
8 give chance to others to speak as well as making more point dosen't give u more point
rather speak a few point that must be strong enough .......will get u more marks....
9 make ur own thoughts on topic.......might get more points
10 starting or ending a gd is a difficult task and thus be made wisely.......as starting dose'nt mean u could get more marks..........
11 starting rather can make u a leader in gd but be cautious
12 everyone should make a conclusion......anyone can be asked to summarize
13 though everyone is nervous there but don,t let it come on ur face.....as it will impact ur points
14 anyone if changes the stand of gd and impact it............. like changing it in ur points direction or everyones agrees with ur point.then u will get a fair marks.......
MIND IT MAKING MORE POINTS WILL NOT GET U MORE MARKS RATHER STRONG POINTS WILL FETCH U MORE MARKS .........MIGHT BE THAT U HAVE GIVEN ONLY TWO POINTS EVEN THEN U CAN GET HIGHEST WITH STRONG POINTS.
plz.make sure that i have not left anything..........if anyone from that class......

Btw, there's an all-day session being organized by IMS, Delhi at St. Columba's School, Connaught Place tomorrow.
And the colleges whose further selection rounds will be discussed about are-- SPJIMR,XLRI,TISS etc.
For details, call up their centre and register (today). I don't know if there's some reg fee charged, as it'd not be possible for me to attend the session.
If someone happens to attend it, please chip in with your feedback, and the points discussed.

Today was last day to submit DAF.I think nobody here can give you answer of your query best thing is to call TISS tell them about your problem.

Give them a call in the morning tomorrow, elaborate your problem and request them to consider your case as special,
you can't play with such opportunities,
In future try to bridge a gap between personal and professional situations.
