pardon me for my imbecilic query but can you advise me on the dress code for the D day, also do we have to carry our resumes along with us?

When is your gd/pi?

for the batch of 2008-10, 3600 calls were given for 65 seats,
for the batch of 2009-11, 1400 calls were given for 49 seats,
i am not sure how many calls have been given this time,
last minute preparations should be avoided (or kept light), there isn't much that u can do now, that you couldn't do till now :|

Hello ,i have got a call from TISS for MA. In HRM and LR , my gd and pi is on 18 march 2010. i have done chemical engg. worked for 3 months in a plant and then left. my acads are good. in the sop i have said that pursuing chem. engg was not my choice, also did not like the job well (and also the field) but came in contact with hr persons of the company , got impressed and decided to get into hr (which is the fact).i have still not found a convincing answer to questions such as why HR?, why should we take you?, is it because you did not like the job, that u want HR? Why TISS?.I AM NOT ABLE TO DEFEND THEM CONVINCINGLY.Can u give me some ideas as to how to tackle the Questions? please help. please give your suggestions. Thank You.

i was wondering if business suit was preferred.

Its gonna be very hot in mumbai at time when our GD would be taking place so i dont think it would be a very good idea to wear a business suit.
u can wear normal formal clothes with a tie.

Now,we can see d receipt of daf details on tiss site..But when i am entering my details it is only showing my gd/pi date and daf coloum is blank.Wat does it mean.? My daf hasnt reached dere. :(

Hi,

This time there are 600 calls for 60 seats. (Ratio of 1:10)

As rightly said, this is the time to take it easy and stay cool.

I had called them. Ms Vidya Mhatre (E: vidya.mhatre at tiss.edu) is looking for this issue.

She informed me that My DAF has been received by them. Pls call her and check, as earlier she was saying that DAF has not bn received but then she scrutinise and confirm that my DIF has recived them.
