Please expect the next list after 10th of April. The IIM lists are expected by that date and the movements would probably be noticed after that only.

i was expecting hugs movements as IIF t and FMS and now evn NM has come out
Though there may nt be many who wud cancel their seat to egt into NM
FMS and IIFt guys wud definitely consider doing so
so i was expecting a waitlist of at least 50
well evenm now lots of college to go - NITIE , MDI , IIMs , XLRI so expect a lot of movement

Waitlist has come down to 20 now....(From the original 54)

Had a small hope of atleast entering single digit numbers considering the results of FMS and IIFT..

Anyway as pointed out i guess there will be substantial movement only after the IIM's are out with their lists...

Till then hoping for the best...

The initial wait list was till 56 if i am not mistaken.

Hi
Today I got a call from consultancy regarding admission in Symbiosis colleges.I said I am interested in SIBM only.He said I have to pay 5.5 lac in additional to the college fees.Also I have to pay 1 lac in advance and the rest i have to pay after getting the admission.I said I don't believe you people ,but they said they are working for past x years.They have source by which they can help a candidate to get a back door entry.He also said that i should give him a confirmation as early as possible.
Now i didn't understood how he got my details(academic and some personal).Also he said he will take me to SIBM campus and then only we have the necessary formalities.

Regarding my SNAP details:
I got a regret letter.:oops:
SNAP score 124.25

Any comments...??

Hmm even I got a similar call..That guy even knew my waitlist number, said he ll get it done. Dunno what to do :(
Just a waitlist movement of 5 this time, I expected atleast 20

I am now waitlisted @ 13.

As IIM results are awaited, I am hoping that I will clear it but No further dates are mentioned.

So when to expect next movement ?
Will it be displayed on the website or they will mail us ?

When I logged in to check the merit list movement the mail read as follows :

"

I am pleased to inform that you have been waitlisted for admission to the two year full time Residential Master of Business Administration programme on the basis of your performance in the Group Interaction and Personal interview.
Your new waitlist number is 1
The conversion of Waiting List to Merit List will be put up on the SIBM website on 22nd of March 2011 by 5:00 p.m. if required. If you have any queries, Please contact SIBM office through email or telephonically (not in person) on 23rd March,2011 between 11.30 a.m to 5.00 p.m.

"

I don't see any list on site,or if there is any other link please let me know.

What should I know to understand my possibilities of admission clearly? If there is still a possibility to get a seat ,by when will I get to know about it?

the next list will probably be displayed around april 10th....
not sure though....

your admission is all but confirmed.... just a few more days...
you will definitely get a letter of acceptance latest by 2nd week of april

Just called up SIBM.They said its a technical fault.The mail should not have said 22 March.

We can see that out of 84 votes polled here total 33 (including the wailists) have voted that they won't be joining. So subtracting it from the total wailist of 54, we get 54-33= 21 waitlists more which are yet to be converted. Not there are around 180 seats which means 180-84 = 96 ppl have not voted here. So there is a fair chance that out of those 96, 21 will not take their seat.
So remain hopeful.:thumbsup:

see... since admin handles this part of the admissions..... i am encouraged to believe that that might be true....
but nonetheless... last yr also... there has never been a declaration of a list within 4 days of each other....so am inclined to believe that atleast 1 week of april is on the cards for the next list....

all in all... all of you who are in the waiting list... its almost like a SURE-SHOT convert for you guyz as this waiting list the natak chalta hain may end thak.....
so all of you WILL convert

dude dont go by the polls here.... they are as far away from the truth as they can be...lots of bogus voters....
in any case.... you have a lot left to see in terms of waiting list movement action...
abhi toh chalu hua hain....
many more ppl will be called..
just have some patience till the end of may...
and who knows... most of you might be CALLED......

Hey...Can anyone tell me when is the reporting date for SIBM Pune..?? Gotta book tickets for SCMHRD...will manage it according to SIBM pune's reporting date in case i convert the waitlist...

SIBM-P session for academic year 2011 for your batch starts on 6th june.....
so you will probably need to be here on campus by 5th june...

your pre-induction will start from 1st April.....
you will be sent materials via mail and hardcopies via couriers...
you will be given specific topics to study...
you will be given assignments and quizzes to take....
there will be an online portal for your help and reference....
to interact with your peers....
case studies will also be provided...
you will be given deadlines to submit assignments....

it will be fun and interesting....

and before ppl start asking again....
IT IS NOT AN ON-CAMPUS INITIATIVE....
you can sit in your homes and attend it....
ppl with work-ex dont worry..... it wont take much of your time......

till we meet on campus!!
