One important query. If we right now pay from our own pocket and later get the bank loan sanctioned (its very difficult to get bank loan in 3-4 days) at a later date then will SIBM return my amount after we transfer money from the bank loan??
For that, you need to speak with the bank which you are approaching for loan. If they agree, then you can pay the fees in SIBM from your pocket. And later, when the loan is sanctioned, the money will be made available to you. I have inquired about the same, in SBI thr someone, and they said, it is possible, that one can do it in this manner. So, speak with the bank.
Mine was 19, a guy having 20 also converted. We were the last guys in the merit list. If anyone from the regrets have also been called then I am not sure, but I think its only till WL-20

Hi my original waitlist was 53, and the last waitlist was 54. We both have converted today. So its the chance of regretted candidates now. ATB:thumbsup:

SIBM wont be involved in any such thing... as sum1 mentioned.... the bank can facilitate that.... so talk to the bank.... some of my batchmates have availed that...

ya regret letters jo aapke paas hain woh toh rahega.... if you are selected.... then you will be sent a confirmation mail... along with that.....a confirmation letter(hard copy) will be posted to ur address
please let me know the cancellation process(the email that has been mentioned somewhere bouced back and i was told by a few ppl that they havnt received any mail from SIBM regarding any update about the refund)...i have converted NITIE today....good luck to everyone.. WL movement by 1 more confirmed...

By wht I have read so far, reject letter will remain. You (we ) will get email and/or hard copy regarding convert. I hope they also call up. It would have been great if SIBM could have maintained FIFO kinda list wherein if candidate cancels/rejects admission, he/she would be out of the list and next person gets in. This would have ensured that the process is as transparent as possible!!

your login will continue to show the "regret" letter as long as you have a log-in... if you convert...you will be mailed accordingly.... apart from that a hard-copy of your confirmation letter will be mailed to ur place of residence..... so as far as i am concerned... no good will come from the login id... mail check karte rehna..... kya malum kab khush khabri mil jaye.... here's to hoping for the best for all you "to-be-converts"

Don't mind me saying this, but the lack of clarity actually causes a lot of rumors about the authenticity of the process. SIBM should ideally come out with a revised Wait List so that everyone is on the same page as far as clarity is concerned.

am not doubting that a revised wl would help.... but after the 1st wl is over.... what sum of my batchmates did last yr was call up the admin and ask for their wl no. on the actual merit list...
suppose they tell you that you are no. 70 that means you are no. 16 in current position as already 54 ppl have been exhausted... i guess you guyz can avail this facility this yr too...
