Sir, any more help we can provide? Shall we send the paper setters to your home to help you out with the paper? And it would have been great if you could provide us with your address so that we could courier the material to you

Ok, on a serious note, a few important things:

1) See the name of the thread. Has it anywhere been mentioned that someone will be providing you with the material?

2) Posting contact details is not allowed on the forum.

3) We don't believe in spoon feeding If you cannot search for material yourself, be ready for a lot of struggle once you are into an MBA and after your MBA.

Got a msg yesterday evening that I have been shortlisted for MBA and that I should check my Email. But have not received any mail from SIBM(checked the spam folder as well). Will I get any letter mentioning the details of the admission process ???

Hey....i also received a msg confirming that i hv been selected for MBA...i also got the mail but haven't received any hard copy yet. I believe you must be receiving your mail very soon....Keep Updated dude...

Your hard copy will be mailed soon....
And on payment of 1st installment...your pre-induction docket will also be sent...

Thanks a lot!!! Just one query over here....Currently i am working in TCS and if i resign on Monday then the whole process will take at least 30 to 40 days to complete. But the joining date is of 6th June ...if i joined couple of days after then will it cause any problem????

there is no reason for it to take >30 days... it shud take exactly 30 days with notice period, not a day more 😃 !

No it wont be a problem if you joined a "couple" of days late...

Just do one thing... after you get a confirmation of your admission (payment of 1st installment)..... drop in a mail to [email protected] and [email protected] explaining your scenario and cause of joining late...

I think it will be more than enough...

The people who converted today were not on any waitlist as such
Neither is there a new list out...
they were in the merit list next in line for convert..
as soon as the aspirants before them cancelled...these guyz were called...
No waitlist is out as such...
its all done personally via mail... nothing public..

I dont know what "waitlist" this is....
There was only 1 waitlist which got exhausted a month back....

Now the admin are calling ppl based on their final position on the merit list as and when there are vacancies...
There are no "lists" that are declared stating the names of the ppl next in line..
its all done via mail and the students who clear are intimated when the vacancies arise...

@ Puys - Since both merit list and waitlist was exhausted a month ago, those who had appeared for GE/PI can expect a call from SIBM. The number of such individuals getting a call will depend on the vacancies and cancelled admissions. You can even expect a call in June as there are a few who cancel out in June after the session has begun.

those people who have converted in the latest merit list movement, can somebody tell what is the last date for them to deposit the fees? i ask this to get an idea of when can we expect the next movement in list..

Hii......i got the selection letter on 7th May and i hv to deposit the 1st installment bfre 14th may......so may be after that there can be sm movement in
the list

Today I rec'd a call for back-door entry into SIBM-P,SCMHRD....I always knew dis ws prevalent in Symbi...he knew my exact SNAP score,my SNAP ID,my date of GDPI@SIBM nd SCMHRD campus...told me that every year around dis tym Symbi stops calling WL candidates because session is about to start..and hence all the data is given to them if they can bring students...he also said even if someone hasnt attended the PI but has 100+ score...he can be given admisison...but paise zaada lagenge...Any Mod or any senior wants the no. I cn give and u may verify that he has complete data on SNAP students who didnt get admission in a Symbi clg this year...I knw these things are very much there in more than half of the top clg 20 cgs(except IIM's)..but it's sad that some students every year get selected in these clgs without merit

Dont worry dude....
dont read too much into all these...
These having been bothering everyone for many years.....but there is no authenticity to any of this...

There will be waitlist movement...my guarantee...
As soon as someone in your batch cancels their admission... other students WILL be called...

Last year... during my time..... waitlist movement happened till start of june...
so just hold on....
