Hi Shourya, I have just been offered admission to SIBM and have accepted it. I paid the first Installment today. How do I access the Pre induction module on the website?
Also, while paying the fees today, the person in the bank did not write my snap id in the remarks section. However I have sent a mail to 'mbafees2011' stating the transaction id. I dont think it would be a serious issue. What do you say?

Since you have already paid.... you will be getting your pre-induction material by snail mail as soon as the college gets a receipt of your payment... You will also receive the user id n password for the induction portal that is currently being used by ur fellow batchmates....

Hii....some queries over here.......the day we reach to SIBM campus...:- 1) Where exactly we need to report? 2) Will der be any document verification done on that day? 3) Do we expect to move into the hostel the very first day? 4) Will der be any provision of stay for parents on that day?.........Seniors pls help??

A few more questions: 1) Do we get an acknowledgement of our payment via email? 2) Regarding the placement figures: Are they just an average (min +max/2) or a weighted average? 3) Is the cost of books included in the fees or do we need to buy them separately or does the library issue them?

1) When you come on campus (on whichever day) - please go directly to the boys' hostel. There will be security guards there with all the forms n formalities to be completed... on completion, you will be handed your room keys and all other associated keys.... hence you check in
2)No there will not be any document verification for checking in to your hostel rooms... just keep a passport photo handy as that will be required
3) what do you mean by this??? ours is a fully residential campus.... so you can attend coll unless you check in - where else do you think you will stay??
4)NO ACCOMODATION FOR RELATIVES ON CAMPUS... plzz find alternate arrangements.....

coming back to ur queries: 1) Yes you will receive a confirmation from the admin on receipt of your payment.... this is generally done within a couple of days of your deadline of payment... 2)how can placement figures be (max+min)/2.... its like sum of all packages divided by the total no. of students... thats avg... :lookround: 3)No books will be provided to you by college... its covered in the "acad fees" section of the fees structure.... you will be given books in all the basic disciplines... plus the library will let you borrow 4 books at a time.... so this is how we study..... trust me its manageable... no need to buy anything....

Adding to what Shourya has said, at the security check post (i.e. the one that comes after you have climbed the hill), the security guard will confirm your name in the list present with him. That list will also contain the details as to whether you have been assigned the main Boys Hostel or Annex hostel. Both hostels are bit far from each other so when you are coming with luggage in the bus, and after reaching to the main boys hostel you realize that you have been assigned Annex hostel, then you would have to work bit more to carry the luggage to the Annex hostel.

The best way would be to call the Admin: 020-3911-6008/09/10 They would be able to confirm that your documents have been received and when and how you would get the confirmation of cancellation.

no i dont think that is possible.... you have to deposit fresh fees here... and withdraw fees from siib

congrats dude!! you have made it.... yes you will get a hard copy of your confirmation letter mailed to you within a couple of days... watch out for that...

yes it is not expected from you to have a final marksheet when you come on campus... but please ask your college to provide you with a provisional degree certificate... that is definitely possible..
you can get all your documents on campus once you procure them... but for the time being please try and bring these atleast
