[2011] XAT and XLRI official thread for queries

Hi ,
Is it mandatory to select the associate institutes , I want to apply to spjain but i cant see the associate i in xlri login , So not sure if if that is submitted .

Has anyone got some confirmation or aomething about the XAT/XLRI application status, whether accepted or not?
Can someone let me know where we can cehck the application status and the important dates?

PS :I am

Its been almost a month and a half now n I am yet to receive confirmation from XAT, XLRI authorities about the delivery of my XAT n XLRI applications.

u can go thru this thread from the beginning , the ques papers would be shared here . You can also try tcyonline,onestop mba and other portals for the same

As far as i know it is irrelevant whether u select the associate institutes or not.. thats a mere mention.... in any case u have to apply to them separately... even i had forgot to select XIMB.. but it didn't matter (thats what ppl at XIMB replied to my mail)... I applied later... So just visit the SPJain website and apply..

I HAVE A FEW QUERIES REGARDING XAT REGISTRATION-
FIRSTLY WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO FILL IN 10th AND 12th QUALIFICATION?
secondly in the final pp form what all is diaplayed ?? is it only my personal details and payment details?
and thirdly is there any prblm if i select all the institutes for the time being as i am not sure which col i wud b applying for in future. i hope all the names of the col are not generated in the pp form.
and lastly is there any selection of course required while filling up the xat form ?? i think it shud b dere while filling up the xlri form

Wanted to apply to GIM. But cud not find ne info about the 2011 admissions on their site. (The appln procedure usually begins by first week of october every yr)

Do ne of u guys hv ne info regardin the application procedure of GIM this yr?????

I want to know is XAT admission office sending a mail to confirm that they have received your XAT and XLRI form, which was to be sent in 7 days from the date of purchase of the bulltin ?

someone told me we do not have to apply for different colleges for xat .is dat true?or we have to fil for different colleges...can u please tel list of colleges coming under xat and the cutt offs needed...... please reply asap ....

WE school is one one of the top ranked B-schools in Mumbai, though it does not figure in the list of top B-schools of India. But still, its quite decent enough.
Cut off thru XAT last yr was around 82-84%ile (same as CAT). no sectionals..:)

My Application is received but my photo & sign is not there on that page....
and there are 2 options for photo and signature..what does that means...say if a select yes, then will they update my sign and photo again...I filled my form after purchasing it from bank...
