Puys, Has anyone actually seen the notification in the paper? All the errors reported has got me thinking if the registration has even started or not? Last year the site was xlri.edu and no reason why XLRI would use a new website now. Please give the date when the notification was out in the papers. Just want to confirm that this is not a stunt being pulled off by a prankster or worse.

Also usually XLRI is very through in their processes.

You need to pay for 2 programs.

i am utterly confused

i want to apply only for xLRI
so do i register for both XAT and xLRI or only XLRI or only XAT

what is the fees... there is a newspaper snapshot i saw somewhere from which i could infer that registering for XAT and registering for XLRI are two different things...
so what to do ??

on xlri's website i can see "XAT registration " and "XLRI registration"

last year it was that you have to register for XAT. That will generate an ID.

Then use that ID and register for XLRI.

So it's a two step process even if you are applying to only XL.

Further...the fee was around 8+ lakhs as per last year ...

Hi,

You'll have to apply separately for XAT as well as XLRI.. But, for both you'll have to Register here

XAT is the Exam
XLRI is the institute conducting this Exam
The scores of XAT are accepted by many other institutes such as XIMB,SPJAIN,GIM,LIBA,Welingkar,XIME so on and so forth(Obviously including XLRI)

So to have a chance at all these institutes u need to appear for XAT
Also u need to apply individually to all these institutes as well.

So in your case u apply for XAT and XLRI

It just gives call on the basis of scores in XAT

I want to know source for VA preparation.
Last year I had spoiled VA big time.
Got 99.91 in Quants, 84.xx in LR but 30.xx in VA.

Kuch gyaan de do for this

i am having a lot of problems while registering for both xat and xlri.the problems are that after filling xat registration they are showing a confirmation report where my nationality and the institutes that i selected while filling the xat registration form are missing.

secondly while filling the xlri registration form i am seeing that my nationality field is grey with nothing written by the side of it and is grey,though i clearly remember that i filled in the nationality field while filling the xat regn.also my 10 ,12 and graduation years got reversed ,which after pressing the back button successively ,finally managed to get in order but in utter dismay about the nationality field and selected institutes field.all the other fields are correct.pls help.

Though iam not great at verbal, i would like to to tell you how to prepare for XAT!!!
(1) Vocabulary, the most important of all, if your vocabulary is very good, then you're clearing the cutoffss of VA in XAT for sure!!!
(2) Speed for RC:- as we all know that that LRDI and QA sections in XAT are toughest in all MBA entrance exams, they take much more time for solving for the sake of clearing cutoff of each of them, so you have to be very fast and accurate in tackling the RCs!!!
(3) I personally found that if you could spot the easy questions in this section, it'll be helpful and i was quite lucky last year to find them!!!

rang the helpline number.spoke with them.it's a minor technical glitch.hopefully will be sorted out tomorrow(their version).they said to register once again from the beginning but after tomorrow afternoon.

my version-bekaar ka maine time waste kiya 2 ghanta.:banghead:.kaal registration karta toh yeh problem nahi hota.
moral: too much hurry in anything is not good.take your time and do it slowly when time permits you

Iam also getting the same problem in xlri registration!!!
But the problem is only in the box of "nationality"!!!
evrything else ALL IZZ WELL!!

Yea exactly same here...Nationality is coming BLANK as "-select-" in XLRI forms...also my permanent address city n state got replaced by my current address city n state 😞 bt still i registered for both of them n got d Print out of slips n goin to deposit d amt tomorrow in d bank.....

Is that fine????
