but was able to open IIM raipur result page on my own 😃
Converted all 6 new IIMs but am going to B :)... So all the best to other people waiting :)...

I think you are the first one who informed us about IIM Kashipur convert, And funny paty is, you are not joining!!
Seems like first waitling list wwould be of 60 people....:biggrin:
not even single one said...kashipur convert..joining..may b older convert people...but less people active in kashipur result!!long way to go to be established as brand IIM for kashipur...
Even if they release wait list of next 60.. then it will also be same like this of other converts.. Come on IIM kashipur.. Luk at Indore.. See the wl num of calls given.. See Kozhikode.. There huge WL.. Even FMS(Though they came late.. but they have done a wonderful job.. Callin max no of ppl.. interview all.. Give huge WL number..) If a single coll can handle this much why cant all 6 iims do together..
Seniors.. Its time to gear up... Or else u will be in hurry bury to fill ur seats at last moment..

same hai yaar.bas ab family business mei dhyaan dena parega aur tu bhagega toh bol mai v saath chalta next year GMAT ke through.kuch bada karenge IIM se v bada kya bolta hai?

They give a good placement report to impress people.... but admission process is very slow,... better if they get list from old iim's remove them and call first 1000 in remaining,... Then onli 670 seats will get filled,....

If the new IIMs are asking the candidates who converted to send a confirmation mail within 4-5 days of the convert, why do they need weeks to declare the subsequent waitlist?
According to me, its a simple tick mark, cancellation and movement thing. Maybe I missed certain algorithms but it looks ridiculously simple to me.
No issues, if I dont get thru any of the new IIMs, atleast I will know that I haven't.

noone on pg and on fb...this year also kashipur ll go same way as last year i think...it ll not fill all seats if students not chosing it in fst 2-3 lists...

Filling up the seats is not the only aim of an MBA college.
I don't doubt anybody's talent and wish you all the luck.
But please try to understand that an institute of stature of IIM has to maintain quality.
The time taken for releasing the list may be due to other new IIM's also releasing their list at the same time.(during the extra time taken to release the next list)
