I have sent my application to "Assistant Consultant" instead of "Dean" Faculty of Management Studies,University of Delhi. Will this be problem or i can send it once again ?
@mayurdhingra i have sent it to the admissions office, fms. have I sent it to the wrong person. I remember someone writing the same in this thread so i sent it there. please correct me if im wrong. thank you.
@cricketfreak I had a word with the Media cell representative. He says it wont be a problem if you clear the cutoff and other eligibility criteria. All the cases will be dealt with properly.
@intelligio1 just check the pdf if you have sent it to the required person (whomsoever it is) or not.

@mayurdhingra I have sent the speed post of documents. however, now i see that the DOB proof is also to be sent. Can I sent the soft copy of DOB Proof or should I speed post again?
@akku909 I dont think there should be a problem. But if you are sending it then use speed post as I do not think they would look into the mail boxes for the docs.
@mayurdhingra Hi,sir the point is I sent my acknowledgement form quite late:-ie on 18th december;but since i was sending it late so to make doubly sure I sent copies of my acknowledgement form through-speed post,First Flight courier,DTDC,Bluedart.Now the deadline for the acknowledgement form to reach fms was 21 december.Now,when i tracked it afterwards ,this is how the situation was-
speed post-reached on 22 dec
Blue dart-reached on 20 december(i have also fetched the delivery sheet from blue dart officials which has a stamp of FMS on it clearly showing that the consignment was delivered to and received by FMS on 20th december)
DTDC,FIRST FLIGHT-On 20 december(I can also fetch their delivery sheets if required)
Now,I have NOT yet received the email.I assure you that i meet the cutoff criteria.As this time around the proforma was to be sent only via speed post;so i have already dispatched the necessary documents via speed post.
My questions to you,are,sir;
1)Since it is the courier which reached there before the deadline and not the speed post,does my application stands cancelled?
2)Since you have been repeatedly assuring us that if we meet the criteria ,there won't be a problem as long as the documents are in place,so sir even though I have not received my email,may i assume that i have the fms call?
3)in place of dob certificate,will pan,10th,12th certi work?
4)how much longer should i wait for the mail?
5)shall i contact fms?if yes,the on what number?or is there any senior i can contact to?
Please help me out sir.I am in quite a fix.

i jst cleared the cut off at 98.56 so to be frank is it practically possible???

but im nowhere close to the feat you've achieved. you're a true genious all iims except K is something very few ppl achhieve. im just another guy. but would certainly cherish the compliment. believe me I everyday live this dream of having a FMS on my tshirt and roaming around in my hometown wearing it. n its a big thing to hear something like this from a senior from ur dream school:)

To clear your doubt consider this case,
If u Get 98.73%ile at 286/450
then u will get 286/450 * 70 = 45 approx
if u get 99.97 at 340 then 340/450 * 70 = 52
so a diff of only 7 marks. And during GD-PI, you can actually score 9/10. So, u can still convert if you have low percentile. Hope it clears your doubt.
