Last year I had opportunity to go through the GD/PI round of FMS. I must say the process , once GD/PI begins , is smooth and glitch free. Time between start and end of whole gd/pi goes like styne's out swing. If You are there in list , do not worry , they will send you a call letter. Rather i would say , prepare hard. Any other help you need or any other query regarding the GD/PI process , i am free to share everything you will want to know.Do feel free to ping me.

start like knowing everything related to you. I will give you an example :
I am from U.P and last time my Extempore topic was " U.P elections 2012". 1 minute was the time scheduled. one of my friend got the topic " deep blue terror ". it can be the color of your tie or folder or spec's frame, place of your living, job , study. something in your name, some company you are working into. But i must say, topics are awesome , you will injoi the process. just go there open minded. tell me what you are going to say if you are meet me for the first time and i say : mister ,gud morning , have a seat. aha you are xitiz sharma. Your topic of extmpr is : kshitiz. your time starts now , one minute - u know !!

its around 15 + 1 minute. Though mine was fish market , but i got 5 marks for putting a decent example for the topic " Tourism has negative impact on the environment."And i spoke just once.

Gd happens first. after that in the sequence of your group , you will be called for extempore and PI. Extempore happens just when you start feeling comfortable in that plastic chair they make you to sit on. Dot at the beginning of Extmp - PI process. Its for one minute. Some " you know a lot but time runs short kind of topic " and awesome panel.
I have not yet got the mail or the letter though my name is on the list. Is it mandatory to carry either the letter or the mail print out? If so, who should I contact about the non receipt of the communication?

That depends upon you. People had scores from 3 to 27. 3 for studs and 27 for Gods. You can put yourself in between them and you are thru. :)
@Tiws ....if 27 is d highest.....dat means i hv 2 b among the gods...........ny idea abt d average??
@targetiim123 Well, considering only the 867 general candidates who attended the interview process, the average was 14.6
@targetiim123 Well, you too have a good chance. Since you said you need 20 or more, there were 220 people who got 20 or more last year. I think that should be better inspiration.
