seniors plz answer my query--- I have 99.34%ile. As per posts on the last few pages CAT score has weightage of 70%. I wanna know whether raw scores or percentiles are taken into account. In case percentile is taken into account then CAT scores wont play a role as all will be 99%ile+ and it will boil down to the other 30%. Plz clarify.

if thats the case , then my next query is--- are scores in gd(10) pi(10) n extempore(10) low scoring or high scoring. reason is if its low scoring then this 30% turn out to be make or break.

my bro got written in top 20 few years back in fms exam but scored less than total in gd/pi/extempore
So a good scrore in gd/pi /ext is 20/30

in cat overall 93.24 hai qa-90,va-94 10th-73.2 12th 69.4 btech 74 workex-40 months category bcobc . any chance of fms call and should i start gd pi prep or not

@revolution2013 as per my research i think a percentile f 99.1 or 99.2 will get you a scaled score of 44-44.5 and last year the cutoff was 67.XX. So i guess you ll be needing 23-24 out of 30!

@revolution2013 the scores have a very big range. I have seen scores ranging between 3 and 26. It is a very important part of the process

yaar a person with 99.7 cat score need to score how much outa 30 in gd/pi/extempore as an approximate to get a seat ?
