[2013-2015] IIM Raipur call getters discussion [OFFICIAL]

@teenflip_1991 You know, i have d same problem , I did'nt add my optional sub marks in total % of 10th, neither in cat nor in IIM forms (done with WAT/PI) did u add urs in overall marks in cat form or PI. Because today I was reading CAT reg guide.. n it mentioned to include all subjects of marksheet... I m bit tensed abt it, coz without optional sub marks I have written 1 mark less than 80% in 10th...
i am not done with my WAT/PI but since i got to know about it after filling the CAT form...so i couldn't change it in the form so i sent a mail regarding the same to all the IIMs that i had got a call from. Dont worry if u r thru with the WAT/PI if u clear there criteria for 10th marks after the adding of the optional marks they will consider you. waise u can't really do much about it now except for sending them a mail. So that u have some kind of proof in case the reject u based on false info giving ...that u tried to inform them before the final selection. Thats all i can tell u...rest it will be best if u could talk to some seniors in IIMs
@teenflip_1991 after adding dat optional sub my total % increases, so criteria is not d problem, wat I wanted 2 know was, wat % is considered, by adding d 6th subject i.e optional, or just d 5 main subject... in both PI & CAT?
@IIMRaipur - I m done with wat/PI .. but I got to know abt this 2day... In CAT form & PI- I have mentioned my 10th %- as 79.8% which is d aggregate of 5 main subjects... But in my 10th marksheet I have 6th subjects marks, last one being optional subject which is usually not considered.... But by adding it my % becomes 82.2%. I know nothing can b done at this point , but I wanted to know which % is actually taken... & if I could chng ANYTHING now, if not will I have problem during admissiion if selected...

Whichever is reflecting in your marksheet.. 😃

@manojh we have to consider optional subject..? God , what am I gona do now.. will they consider such changes at this pt of time.. after WAT/PI... Please help....
@manojh I was asking for d 6 new IIMs
@Riya3 Since you have put it less you would be losing an opportunity in my opinion if your mark sheet reads 82.2. If it is 79.8 in your mark sheet you need not worry.

@manojh @IIMRaipur It's mentioned on the raipur site that PI/WAT score will be normalized across centers and panels. Can you please explain as to what factors will come into play here?

hey, do we need to carry the iim ranchi pgdm n hrm form printouts too.. plz reply and those whose WAT is over, please post the topics also.. its a sincere request for the benefit of those who are tensed about what to prepare for WAT....

@sim-ba We do not have any details..

But what is it...seems weird

@sim-ba wat i think is usually there are several panels now they score you out of some points and then the average is calcualated for that panel , if your score was above teh panle you will get a better composite sore while if its less tehn the average u will get a bad score in your PI obv , they have to do so as there are so many panels, consider it similar to CAT when a factor is calcualted as per the difficulty of the paper and the ppls performance for that slot.
:)

puys is there a thread for the GD-PI experiences?

@manojh One of my friends forgot to submit his IIM Raipur form online within 12th February. Should he call up the admissions office and request them to accept his candidature? What should he do? He has his interview on 4th March. Please reply asap.
