Same thing happend to me. If you get selected, put your papers on the same day if you are sure of joining. And speak with your boss about your release date. Initially they won't accept, later they will accept. Keep on talking to them till they accept.

of course i m gonna file the resignation the same day. i m just taking the worst case into count as u never know abt these private firms. I do hv a job of a bit of responsibility of taking interviews and providing training apart from development works, which is why i m not so sure abt getting released early.
how to submit the hardcopy of online form if we have calls from older IIMs? since I won't have to attend WAT-PI for new IIMs....???

Depending on the admission criteria for IIMRaipur there is 20% weight-age to profile in final selection. Unfortunately i score only 6 out of 20. Have done decent with WAT PI and CAT percentile is 98.62. Should i expect a positive news on 10th may???

@alok698 same here I have already lost hope .It seems every college is awarding marks on the basis of diversity.Here goes my hopeless profile:-
10= 88.67
12 = 85.67
grad= 76.89
work ex=3 months
