I have contacted our admissions office, if you have filled your CAT form with nc obc then only something can be done otherwise not.

Please check the status of your application through Speed post/courier tracker.
Don't worry, since they must have got lot of applications around last date so they might send confirmation email in bulk.
If you didn't get any confirmation email till next two days , then please call up the department office with your application number and ask whether they have received your documents or not.

As far as I know, No deadlines were extended last year.
However, if we will receive any information about the extension of application period it will be shared in this thread asap.

@kshitiz_mfc Hi bro...When is the GDPI shortlist expected to be out ?? Will it be out in the second week of Jan, immediately after the CAT results are out ?? Kindly answer my query though it is too early to ask this question

Last year GD/PI list was declared in 1st week of Feb and GD/PI were held in 2nd week of March so may be same pattern will be followed for this year.

You have a decent chance of getting a call considering previous year cutoff (of general category).
What was last year index score cutoff for nc obc category?
