@kshitiz_mfc
Dear Sir,
Its an earnest request to you to please explain the rationale behind using predetermined scaled scores for the given range of marks, and not simply applying the weights to be allotted to the actual score secured by the candidates, as is done with the CAT score - a straight 75% taken into account. Also, will the same process be used this year too?
For example, I have 84.14% in my tenth boards. There is no difference between, say, 84.86% and 80.14%. Similarly, I have a 90 in my class XII maths. The 4 marks in excess of 86 had been extremely crucial for me to get admission into a premier undergraduate college. But here, in another prestigious postgraduate institution, there is no difference.
By this calculation, I am getting a scaled score of 90.26. It would not have been insufficient last year to get me a call. I am not exactly counting on it this year too. Hoping for the best, but not too optimistic.
Regards.
*It would have been insufficient to get me a call.
what was the score of the last student who converted the call (out of 100 as mentioned in the first post on the forum) in both open and nc-obc category ?

Work-exp does not have any weightage for the GD/PI Shortlist but it will be considered implicitly during the GD/PI process.

when exactly would the gdpi process be conducted? i need to know the dates so that i can accordingly arrange for train tickets 😛

Only Delhi. Dates not out as far as i know.
does that mean students from non-maths background are not even eligible for this course????

No Need to update the CAT score or percentile. Institute will source them directly.

Dates will be out after a week or two of the shortlist declaration.
GD/PI process will most probably held in 2nd or 3rd week of March.(not Official yet)

Unfortunately yes, students who didn't have Mathematics as a subject in Class XII are not eligible for MFC.
