hello friends....... i am hardik, i`ve targeted social and rural based colleges such as IRMA and T.I.S.S...... can some one tell me which book i should refer for HRM for TISS and how should i prepare for Rural general knowledge and rural general awareness. Pls reply as soon as possible.

I would like to suggest you to first go on TISS website and do some research on TISS HRM program..
@All: Request everyone to please wait until the advertisement is out. You will have innumerable tricks and ways of cracking TISS exams. Please research about what TISS is, do you really think it is for you, are you really interested in the curriculum they provide..... Once the ads are out.....we will paste it in BIG BOLD LETTERS (as these) and you can throw your queries then. All the best again.

i wanted to inquire abt d ratio of freshers to work-ex intake for TISS?
i'm a fresher with an average score in my graduation(71% aggregate) n decent xtra-curriculars...
@mrinal4CAT - I dont know about exact ratio but I dont think TISS has a fixed proportion for freshers and work-ex . I have heard from some seniors that the ratio is very different in different batches.. so such statistics are not reliable.. what every senior says is that TISS give you enough opportunity to prove your talent ..

@mayank7 - You will have to mention specific course . Last year you could select up to 2 courses within Social Work.

You can apply to a maximum of 3 courses. You need to specify the name of the course.
Please do some research on the courses before the application so that you have a relatively clear picture as to what would suit you the best.
Last year TISS notification came out on Friday (23 Sep 2011) ... I am hoping it will come out tomorrow Friday 28 Sep 2012 !
