VENUE-ISI, DELHI
DATE- 18TH FEB
reached d centre in d foggy weather at 8:30 am....waited in hall d nukkads outside were a great relief 😛 !!!
After sometime we were asked to gather at a room attendence was taken 》where d panelists n two girls (for verification) 《announced by I think HOD that gd will began n u'll be taken in groups of 12 at a time !! I was in group 2 ...2 gals n 10 boys ...dere were two moderators also time limit was 20 min including 2 min for thot process n 2 for summing up !! Topic was TV IS CLEANING OUR CULTURE ? Both d gals including a behenji were so damn aggressive dat dey wud have killed oders to just speak nonsense ...behenji hhad d guts to even pointing out at d moderators to let her complete wat shes sayng !! To sum up Gd was a suicidal fish market u wud never want to go !! came back went upstairs at d canteen quenched my hunger at around 11:30 when gd's were over announcement was made dat now pi will take place !! Verification started by d two ladies at d desk just a see thru of ur marksheets, id n score card and ur done wid verification den u hold tite for ur pi turn !!! After an hour or so a lady came cald my name n I knew @#@!/$ !!
PI [two pi rooms consisting of 3 members each]
THERE WERE THREE PANELISTS ALL MALE WHICH CONSISTED OF HOD, a FATHER (some said he is d director) and an economic teacher (as he was asking all abt eco to evey one)
I was cald in greeted dem n handed over my profile sheet (which was given during verification u dnt need to fill anythng just hav to paste ur photo so dnt bothr)
Asked me to sit on a chair which was almost at a distance of 1 meter from panelists ...I filled my cmat no. Frm my score card and d tym came
P1 (hod) -tell us abt urself n hobbies
Me- answered n justified
P2 (father)-why xiss ??
Me-told n explained from where I heard abt it
Suddenly from blue d most dreaded question I dnt even remember whu asked
P?-why HR ?
ME- I DNT KNW HOW but I answrd n dey luked happy (phew)
P?-what does an hr do n why hes differnt frm oder managerial questions n some personal ques
Me- answered well I wud say as I cud see a ghost of a smile on two panelists
P1 asks P3 we are done do u wanna ask smthng to rahul
P3- Whats d differnce btw probation n contractual service?
What are maharatnas name some ??
Somethng on psus n pvt sector companies
Me- fortunately I knew dem as my dad is in psu !!!

P.S-in my case no tech ques were asked !!! Just go thru basics !! Some oder ques asked to oder candidates were what are sez n name some places, smthng on jharkhand n ranchi, cm of jharkhand ( tricky as no cm for jharkhand dese days)

@KOUSHEYA brush up ur economics. general questions. gdp.inflation.exchange rate. definition. and formula. hdi. fixed capital. capital industry. they will ask u to define sm terms fr them...etc etc. it shd b ok.....nt tht difficult:-D

@CATrace1105 no. but mst of the students were. infact evrybdy was. i was lucky to b askd questions related to social service.ngos.etc. i hav been wrking wid. but they grilled me on those topics.
@ashish0102 mast tha yaar. i think panelists ko main pasand aa gayi :-P they were a sweet lot. and i have been alot into ngos and all. so they were vry swt to me. askd me hell lot of questions related to the ngoz i have been wrking fr. overall it was a decent interview.

sab log. pls study. brush up ur grad k subjects. gk padho. saarc. brics. if possible read thru the imp economics events of the last 2-3 months. they will ask u sm questions related to ur stream. sm gk questions. and will surely ask u -why hrm/rm/fin/mkt etc etc.
@ashish0102 mjhse itna social service par pucha hai ki mjhe hrm ki jagah rm milega...i am genuinely interested in rm. but i wud rather do it frm irma or ximb. so chill. as long as u gave a decent interview.....chill!!!!
who regulates the management of XISS..anyone please answer
