here iz how the process went:
1. go 2 d staffroom wid d req documents.. (u all will b seated) and told 2 fiill a form...
process takes around 20 minutes.
2. if u require bank loan , write a letter 2 the finnce officer stating ur requirement and ull get the entire fee structure and bonafide(required for bank loan)... dis process took amazingly 2 hrs(dunno y??
)
3. collect d fee structure and fly 2 ur destination

an advice 2 ol d ppl coming 2 XISS 4 admissions ...plz bring d affidavits with notarisation 4m court... and yeah if u dont hav d final migration or clc , nt a big deal hav sum provisional certificate stuff dat proves u passd out... dats it...

Heyy..can anyone tell me if I paid my 75000(approx) money for admission and then want it back(refund if i took admission somewhere else) would it be done? Would I get it back?
@priyankajain29 as per aicte norms if u withdraw ur admission before the commencement of classes u will get the money back minus a thousand bucks.( some colleges also put a condition of seat getting filled up before returning money).
@sudhmba Ohh..Thanks..Actually m waiting for XLRI's final list..and XISS's last date for HR is also coming up..! Don't wanaa miss it if i dont get in XLRI..! So if I take admission now I would get the refund later if I dont want to?
@priyankajain29 yaah , i think u can get it surely. look at some of the earlier posts where the admission cell has answered this specific question. i am for IT. i will be going to ranchi tmrw.

well as of nw nt much info abut rm bt cn say that i did meet a couple f students wid engineerin bckgrnd takin admission in rm prog... n had a casual chat with rm guy who was happy that rm ka craze badh rha hai (perhaps reffering to the Btech ppl goin 4 rm)

Well it's tym i share all the information i collected about lyf@XISS
puys i knw there is no limit 2 the amount of information we cn collect so plz keep on adding....
1. campus nt that big bt has a basketball court, canteen, courtyard(kinoff where the fest happens, 2oo small though), fitness centre (membrship approx 1000/yr), unofficiall futball ground(dat XISS shares wid d adjacent school/clg dunno it's name),library(old 1), all the classes for all departments are conducted in the same building in different floors ( hrm : 1st
, fin: 4th, rest i dnt knw ).
2. canteen provides decent food at decent rates... breakfast u hv choice f idly/puri/roti/sabzi@approx 15 rs max.... lunch uve gt meal system approx 30rs(veg)... rest we need 2 explore.
3. coming 2 hostels dere is an official gals hostl(nt in d campus though) u gotta take an auto approx 10min(hwz d infra in d hostl dunno yet).... as 4 guys no official hostl , though there is 1 known as St. Paul's hostel(run by XISS alumni) approx 5 min walkin distance 4m XISS(route is hung up on d bulletin board u cn chk out... rates 3k boardin and 2k foodin... wid laundry , wifi, common rum etc ( capacity approx 30)... there r many hostels nearby wid cheaper rates though (i saw 1 wid 1.8k boardin n 1.5k foodin) chk out well b4 bookin ... optn f flats r also available... approx 6k 4ppl sharin in nearby areas.. dnt cough up rents for april n may as advance bookin as d owners wer makin such demands...
4. nw comin 2 tymings f classes(daily routine) :exclusively 4 HR ppl(odr dptmnts would have similar tymings 2oo though)..
MON: 9:15am - 3:30 pm
TUE : 9:15am - 3:30 pm
WED: 9:15am - 1:30 pm + 2hrs FIELD WORK
THU : 9:15am - 1:30 pm + 2hrs FIELD WORK
FRI : 9:15am - 1:30 pm + 2hrs FIELD WORK
SAT : (classes may or may not hppn)😠
*FIELD WORK includes workin in an NGO/orphanage/teachin etc...
5. Uniform is mandatory😠 (different shades/stripes 4 different deprtmnts) 4 days a week and 1 day casuals iz allowed..👼
*XISS is located in strategic location so u wont hav ne problm wtsoevr as any n evrythin is available at stone throw far away any tym of d day/nyt...🍻
*everythin i shared i based on wat i saw and also wat i heard 4m the seniors(some facts may nt be true... shared all this cuz i trusted the ppl who readily shared the 1st hand info(thanx))
