@malfoy1988 Seats have actually increased by 18 only as 342 students were admitted last yr.. Der r a lot of buffer calls still present... considering these 2 factors it seems my chances r less... Still im hopeful..
Hey can anybody give me the no of seats in mba core in narsee monjee because I just read in another forum that it has 480 seats whereas I was only aware of 360. Anybody?

Do you really think they have given so much of buffer calls? because if lets say they have given 50 buffer calls and all of them confirm their admission and nobody withdraws in future then? will college absorb all of them? I dont know but this doesnt seem logical to me... though confusion about "no movement" after 2nd list last year is still there... !!!
There are people like @jack-ma who are pretty jobless... even when they have made up their mind to not join the institute, they keep coming to this thread to say negative about the college and demotivate others... dude get a life.. and start studying... stop being so jobless... its difficult to get into IIM A with such joblessness and vellapanti... :)
@nikki2012MBA I am also saying dis based on last year's trends.. Though in d scenario which u stated.. i.e everybody confirming der admission .. i dnt knw wat will happen den.. But d chances of dat happening r very less.. Dey r experienced people nd have a very gud idea abt d wl movement as dey hv been conducting dis 4 d past 30 years or so..

I think according to them same happened last yr as well. The intake was 300 and 342 students were admitted. Thats why there was no waitlist movement after 2nd list. I hope they haven't done same again.

It is logical to give buffer calls as the candidates are likely to move out to some other colleges down the line. There is a very minute chance of your scenario happening in reality. :)

Dude bashing NM wont help cause all other colleges are also not holy-pure. There r colleges ( which conduct their own exam and have declared result) in which ppl take admission by backdoor which are perceived better than NM. Ganga sab jagah hi thodi maili hai. Best to look abt urself only.

Could be true, I don't have anything to say about that. I am just giving my perspective of NMIMS, and it shouldn't bother as long as I am not abusing an individual. Just leveraging my right to speech. NMIMS doesn't appear honest to me, nothing against all the intels here who've got through it.

Now that wait list has moved till 687 at least....any chance of clearing core at 769 ?? Its the only hope for now!

Last year, IIFT declared its final result 2 days before NM declared its 1st merit list. This yr, it has been the other way round. So that increases the chances of the WL moving and the possibility of a 3rd list being published this year.
