I kid you not guys! My friend has already taken admission for Core n he told me this. I was really surprised. He told me that during doc submission this lady calculated an aggregate of all his 3 year degree marks in BMM. Luckily for him his aggregate was 73%. Only then was he allowed to go pay his fees.
@RVP20 :Yaa that is what I am saying , they maybe verifying that the aggregate scores submiited by you during the initial stages are the same or not??? there can be instances where ppl lie just to better their chances
Nope it wasn't a verification. You can trust me on that. We haven't mentioned our 3 year aggregates anywhere we have only mentioned 10th 12th n TY. But she calculated it n told him good you at least have a first class.

Don't think so. The only thing that they make sure is whether you have completed the course in its stipulated time.
@vision_twist @NMIMS_CM Can you give an idea as to what has been the final movement in the WL as to the last merit number that has made it to FTMBA...I am placed at 797, very bleak -chances, but still keeping the hope..

@RVP20 No way. I don't have a first class throughout my degree course and I was not rejected. I know many students current and past who din have a first class throughout.

Please don't resort to hate mongering. If you have any objective questions/concerns do raise over here but don't malign any course about which(conceptualization) you don't have a slightest idea.
@vision_twist If you carefully see the course structure, most of the 1st year subjects are common across CORE/BM and CM. And I repeat the word MOST. As the trimesters progress, CM specific subjects become prominent.
I would like to clear one more confusion - CM/BM is not entire FINANCE. It is a part of FINANCE. Hence a focus course.
Its neither an advantage nor a disadvantage. I feel the pluses and minuses balance out in the end wrt curriculum.
