dude obviusly SCMHRD is not in the same league of XL i just mentioned SCMHRD because it is reputed for its HR programme and a college is not reputed for some particular specialization just like that
@pksingh3232 : Agreed man, the brand matters..but what I meant to say was that NM is not such a bad college that you cannot even consider to join having the attitude that the returns totally suck...just gave an example to support my statement which I personally came across.
i never said NM is bad dude I am joining NM core y shud i say its bad i just said for focussed courses ur first preference shud be colleges which are reputed for those specializations like for HR u shud opt for TISS or XLRI or SCMHRD now if NMIMS placements for HR is good enough according to u then no probs dude its just that the fees is exorbitant so if u end up with a package of 8 lacs it will definitely be a pain.So opt for NMIMS only if it doesnt matters to u if u get a lesser package than expected maybe by hardwork u will go to a higher position and for that u will have to slog and be different from others in ur organization to get noticed :)
@pksingh3232 : True..the fees is exorbitant..but no where is a good salary 100% assured. Guess it depends upon the way a person looks at the situation..I believe in my abilities..lots of ppl dont n hence get swayed n confused
@dhinamajeevitam My VA score, buddy i think that irrelevant. And as far as my inference skills go, i think if you talk about selling off your assets after going through an MBA, then you are obviously referring to the placements of a course unless of course you have a knack of talking in cryptic ways that sound like something and refer to something else.
Also you can keep your doze of sarcasm to yourself, nobody needs it, least of all people like me who have already passed out and are well placed in life.
But for people like you, all i can say that if you plan to pursuit an MBA with this sort of attitude, id be surprised if you land up with even a below par job.
And why the hell would people be modest ??? Dude talk some sense, think for 2 seconds before you utter something instead of just blabbering randomly about stuff that you dont have a clue of.
People like you get into MBA with dreams of amazing packages and high salaries and what not and after a year realize that they are not competent enough to even complete two years of MBA. They are the same people who come on forums like PG and then accuse the administration, the placecom, the students blah blah for all the failures in their life!
@dhinamajeevitam please for your own sake, do not join NM CM, the way you are talking on this forum, you would end up being a totally frustrated student who thinks that he did a big mistake by joining this college.
