@shubhamchandra Sir, in your opinion which would be a better choice - hostel or flat? Also if you could please highlight some of the major differences between the two if at all there are any, with regards to distance from the campus, amenities, restrictions and general preferences?
where do you want to stay, depends upon you.. Hostel has its own benefits and flat has its own..
@shubhamchandra I have cleared my grads... So do I need "certificate of eligibility from principal that I hav cleared all dues" I have the provisional degree with me and all the marksheets.

Sirji, they aren't issues. All I wanted to know was why some things are happening. I think we do deserve to know why the college would need so many attested copies of the marksheets and other similar things. I am not criticizing the institute for anything, rather I have utmost respect for it. If there are reasons for the processes, we would just like to know why, that's all. And it's not just my concern, because arranging for that kind of amount is very difficult in 10 days. Even if the institute wants us to pay that, that's fine. Atleast it would be good if we could have some buffer time right? Don't you think this is a little difficult for us? And the fact that we have to come to mumbai so many times. It's not easy.
And it's not just me, by the responses I have been reading and I am sure that you have been reading, many (if not everyone) people are facing the same problems. We are not doubting the credentials of the institute at all. Just would like to know what the thought process is behind the things we are asked to do!
Honestly sir, I didn't expect a reply like the one you gave now. Very deterring for a candidate who has worked really hard to try and get into one of the top B.schools in the country. I am sorry for trying to find out why we are being forced to do things without having a rational explanation behind them.
@Abhaysood - I have got merit 1049 in MBA Core and it is showing as NOT SELECTED..But I saw here people with more than merit 1100 being waitlisted for MBA core....How is it possible that I am not waitlisted.
Can anyone please help on how to procure an education loan in such short time. Are there any tie-ups of NMIMS with the banks. One of my friends got teh education loan on the spot while taking admission in one of the IIMs. Is it possible for NMIMS?

@krisharjun07 bro, aptly said by you, it is a matter of concern for any one to arrange 6.31 lakhs in 10 days.. For the underlying reasons u were asking, there is nothing more than the monetary benefits.. I am sure, no one will run away even aftr paying a minimal amount of 1 lakh.. It's like a free credit for them. That too they have given direct conversions fr arnd 600 people(only for core mba), of them atleast 500 will confirm their candidature(my assumption, as most of the other results are not yet out). So, it's a good 30 crore free credit for them for atleast 45- 60 days..
But, we dont have any other chance bro. Have to adjust some how.. No offence meant for the college or for anyone, I am just analyzing the case as per my knowledge.. I think we have the right to think and analyze abt this, as WE are one who is going to pay this huge amt....
How to apply for a bank loan in such a short duration without proper breakup and details of fee over the period of 2 years??? Banks require all these details...

If I come down to mumbai to book a seat for PGDM bangalore and give them a draft of 5.21l and further there is movement in HR which is a course that I will prefer over PGDM-B, will they adjust the fees so that I can pay only the difference amount. As I will not be able to arrange another 6.31L for HR course.
and is there a chance at waitlist 231 for HR ?? should I wait or book a bangalore seat?
