@krisharjun07 said:@shubhamchandra@manas222@Abhaysood @other seniors, can you please throw some light on why the college wants the entire Rs 6.31 lpa (which was earlier 6.06 lpa, and the fees has somehow gone up 25k within 2 weeks, wondering if it would increase further before college starts) in such a short period of time? How and why do they expect us to do that? I am sorry but I am really disappointed at the way this whole thing is being managed. And I have heard that it takes 40 days approx for the refund to come back in case we want one. By this time, IF we do get admitted in another college, then we have to pay fees there as well. It just doesn't make sense! Why take so much money and give it back in case of a refund!? We have already payed 1.65k for the test (more for retests), 950 Rs for the GD/CD PI process which no college charges, and on top of that, such a steep rise in the fees? And not to mention the air fare to and fro, hotel expenses and the sheer number of attested duplicate documents (my bank manager was laughing at how many documents he had to sign!). As an admirer of the college, I am rearing to join the college but as a sensible MBA aspirant I really feel let down by the whole process is managed, for in no way is the candidate's interest looked at and almost puts the college's interest 1st on every front! Please help us with this or atleast let us know why this is happening! We are forced to and hence will pay the fees anyway (one way or another), but it would be good if you could explain the mindset behind the processes. I am sure all the aspirants (and their parents!) want to know.
@Suneet0110 said:@shubhamchandraCan you throw some light on the Migration Certificate (Original) which we need to submit....do we need to take it from our prev graduation college or directly from the university?
@lio17 said:sorry if the ques was repeated but i went thru the entire thread- 54 pgs twice... pls can u point to the pg where my query was answered/ asked already?
@Abhaysood said:@vaibjha No u will not be rejected in any case if u pay the fees.
is worrying me........@manas222 said:I am not even contesting that arranging such an amount is a huge task, it is surely unfair to candidates without a affluent background. I will suggest that you approach the authorities to see if they can allow for delayed payments or in parts. I had to arrange an amount of 4.66 LPA in a week, and I got a loan approved in 15 days later too. Try approaching a bank where your relatives work/have contacts, would help expedite the process.I can't really explain the increase of 25k in the fees, but yes, I empathize and don't blame you for what you feel. Fees are normally collected before the start of the session, so the process is similar across all schools. No one wants to harass students willfully. Quality education in India rarely comes cheap, that is the reality of the system of our country. Sad, but true.
