@hopesNdreams : I think you can get a duplicate marksheet for 6th semester from your university . Till that time you can give a xerox with the receipt of duplicate marksheet(I think that will suffice).

@siya23 :Do not worry ,call them up and ask about it, but I think the mail id should be working(Last year it was working). I do not remember the mail ID but it is given in the selection letter.
Hi.. I just wanted to ask that in case you are working for 18 months is the transfer certificate applicable to you? Is it compulsory to bring it?
@hopesNdreams :Yes, check out whatever policy your University has about duplicate mark sheets , my university issues one , if your university provides you with only a provisional one than I guess it would be ok.

Yess... no matter how much u hav worked .. even it's 18 years ... Migration certificate wil lbe given by the University .. it has no relation with ur professional career..

i graduated from a college in Chennai in 2011 and since then I am working for a company in Hyd...from whom do I need to get this migration certi?
i tried going thru some of the pages(not all....) in search of this......it will take a lot of time to search all the pages....it would be very helpful if some1 answers this (once again

Just ask the University from which u have graduated.. They will provide Migration certificate .. just like college leaving certificate 😃 .. It has no connection with ur profession life..!!
Funda of Migration certificate: It is required to be submitted when you join an institute in some university other than the one in which you graduated (most recently) from. Other MBA colleges might not insist on this formality but NMIMS does so.
what about transfer certificate?
