FTMBA: merit rank 945, waitlisted
Capital Market: Converted
I did not mail the admissions office as i do not want to join Capital Markets. Although I know there is no hope for a conversion in FTMBA, will i still be considered during waitlist movements or not?

Even I think the same.
@blue4u said:@MBAVichar In that case one could argue in favour on NM then. They give you ur merit number. You are so good with numbers, estimate the buffer calls, estimate the withdrawals and evaluate your merit number whether it fits or not. Why frustrate and malign the institution?Mind you very few institutions give you merit number. Other colleges ka list aana shuru hoga, you wud realise it then. I am not saying NM ka process is the best. But the lines of your argument aren't exactly foolproof.
Its got to do more with past experience than estimations... Plus the fact that they are asking for full payment of fees from all of these students within 10 days and as per posts here would take more tan 3 weeks to refund such a huge amount ... it really doesnt require some pg comments to malign them..... and the comments were anyways frustration than intent to malign.
This whole thing would have made sense had they given us at least 15 working days.... Then you can say.. then are trying to optimise the process to reduce waiting list movement.
