Hi,
i gave the GMAT Prep 1st exam, and i scored: Quant=47, Verbal=23 and IR=3. Overall score:580.
i really need to improve on Verbal specially SC and RC.
Please help,, and give suggestions to improve my score, as i am targeting atleast 720.

Need Guidance, i have 2 years and 10 months experience in IT industry, excellent extra curricular activities record during college as well during my job. I am planning to give my GMAT exam in August so need some help to target some schools. Earlier i was planning MBA abroad so started studying for GMAT but now i guess i will not be to afford MBA abroad so want to target schools in India after giving GMAT. All advice are most welcome.

About a month ago, I saw a GMAT test center in Dwarka, Delhi. but I can no longer see it on the list of centers. Has anyone faced similar issue?
Hello everyone.
Greetings
Ive just started my preps by self studying and I was going to rely solely on Manhattan CR book. Ive finished reading it as well as practicing the questions and grasped all the core concepts.
I couldn't agree fully with the time taking diagram/notes method and frankly, I still solve the CR questions by:
1. Identifying the q type(thus reminding myself of the associated 2-4 key points of that type)
2. mapping the whole question in mind
3. cancelling all the negative options
4. go by instincts if still unsure
Is this the proper way in your opinion?
If not, should I start it all over again by referring to Kaplan books about which I've been recommended? Or do you guys recommend any other source?
