Hii...I am planning to start my GMAT preparations but have a few doubts..firstly I have heard that if I do take GMAT in Jan 2015..I would be available for round 3..would it be wise to do that or take GMAT next year, at some time in april and be eligible for all the rounds..secondly, I have appeared for cat before and do have a decent command over both quant and English..should I prepare myself or take coaching..I could not find positive reviews for any of the coaching centres in delhi..but I am looking to get proper guidance and build on my profile..thanks in advance..

Hi Puys
I am aiming for 1 yr Exec MBA from India, IIM , Spjain, etc. I have total of 7.5 yrs of exp and I am planning to give gmat next year and my experience will be around 9 yrs by then.
Can anyone help me with individual average b-schools Gmat cut off based on my experience so that I can target for that score accordingly
HI Guys,
I am currently working for an IT company. And decided to start my prep for GMAT. I will be starting from scratch as the last i had prepare for CAT and other exams was 3 years back.
I want some genuine opinion whether classroom training is worth the money or one can prepare on their own? I know it differs person to person and the amount of dedication but still is it worth it?
Also, is Jamboore better or Time?
Thanks in advance Puys. :D
Hi guys,
I'm taking the gmat test on 17th march and am just starting out with preparation (hardcore). I've joined TIME for CAT but haven't really started studying much.
Any pointers on how to approach the preparation?

Hi Friends,
I have a total of 2.3 years of experience in sales for a Multinational Firm. I am planning to give my GMAT this year by August and I want to apply for top B schools in India. I have to start my preparation from scratch.
I wanted to know which would be the best books to prepare for GMAT and is it necessary to join coaching classes for the same?
Hi Neha,
GMAT is different from GRE. Since you are starting the preparation. Start with the basics. Best to start of with is Official Guide.
Remember that anything that is not official is not reliable. Hence I am suggesting the GMAT OG.
Preparing questions is alone not sufficient. You have to take tests and see your improvement. Because knowing a theory and applying in test is different. So what I suggest is Take a practice test which is available for free in www.mba.com(2 free tests). review your test and make sure that you don't make the same mistakes again in next test. If you want to take more tests you can purchase it from above mentioned website.
For more practice you can use:
Quant Review,Verbal Review books which is also official.
Hi Puys
