Puys, the post office will be closed on 2nd and 3rd, so effectively the last date is 1st april... Scared now whether the post will reach by 1. Will fms accept late arrivals due to postal delays or is it very strict with the submissions

i just want to know whether I have got a call or not.my name is there in list but with some other id and numbe r.i also dint get any mail or sms.i thinki m not in as my percentile is 98.3 but still jst to confirm.
Does FMS give weightage to diversity - Non Engineering Background like a few IIMs do?
If it is so then I may think about attending the interview at less than 99 %ile, (because I am not an engineer) otherwise there is no point spending all the money on flights.
For all those who are wondering whether they should appear for FMS' interview with percentile lower than 99 and/or have a non-engineering background:
Though there are no marks allotted explicitly for diversity, it is highly respected in FMS, and if you are well prepared, you may have a very good chancing of converting as it may fetch you 1 or 2 marks extra- and that can make all the difference. There are students here who convert every year with percentiles less than 99 and there is no reason one should lose hope.
PS. We have doctors, scientists, entrepreneurs, CAs, people with background in Economics, Commerce and Statistics and so on. We encourage you to make the best use of this opportunity.
