Hii, Anyone know how to get experience certificate from cognizant ?
Till which month is workex considered in new iims? I have been shortlisted by indore in that they are asking us to insert workex only till 31 july 15, even though they don't give any marks for workex.
But I am still working, and if any new IIM take details from them. I wont be getting benefits for workex points.
Can anyone clarify?
Please adjust with my doubt,
In the personal data form, under graduation details the start and end date of each of the four year is asked but I don't have the exact date, is it ok to give month and year.
please help me

Here are few questions asked in today's PI Basics session 17-02-2016
Q1. Many say that you should not tell points which are in resume, but you are mentioning to tell about experience, college which are already there in resume.
A1: Firstly, for PI, you don't need to carry resume. Panels might have your form which you submitted so you need to elaborate your experience, projects done in college, extracurricular, co-curricular. so try to elaborate whatever is asked and you want to tell.
Q2. If I say that I want to become an entrepreneur, will they expect me to choose a specialization?
A2: If you say you want to be entrepreneur, then they won't expect you to choose specialization however they might expect you to have some business plan which makes you say so.
Q3. Is suit necessary for PI round?
A3: It's not necessary to wear suit however it's advisable to wear to create positive first impression. But if you are not wearing suit, make sure you are in perfect business attire.
Q4. Specific questions like why IIM Kashipur or IIM Raipur?
A4: It's advisable not to say specifically about any IIM as you may not know panel is from which IIM and that might create biased opinion however if panel ask you to mention specifically then mention some stats about particular IIM which can support your answers like faculty, student exchange (try avoiding placements data)
Q5. How to address the panelist in interview?
A5: Greet the panel, can do handshake with smile, just be confident from the time you enter interview room till the time you come out.
Q6: Any other follow up questions apart from what is your idea if I say I want to be an entrepreneur?
A6: why entrepreneur? from where will you get initial funding? Why not take some experience in firm and then start business? Etc.
