Process for the day?

. You will report to the auditorium in Academic building on the day of your GD PI at:
- 7:45 am for 8 am slot
- 10:45 am for 11 am slot
- 1:45 am for 2 pm slot
. You will be given instructions about how to go about the process from here
. This will be followed by a Group Discussion.
. You will then be directed to your respective Personal Interview panel.
Where do I report to on arrival?

. MDP hostel for people provided accommodation at NITIE
. Auditorium (Academics Block) if you arrive for your GD PI directly.
Documents that I need to carry?

Everyone must carry the originals and 2 sets of self attested photocopies for the following documents
. Two copies of downloaded application form
. Invitation letter for GD PI from NITIE (For candidates with rescheduled date, kindly carry printed copy of email confirming reschedule)
. Xth and XIIth mark sheets
. Age Proof (Generally it's Xth marksheet itself)
. B.E/B.Tech Certificate
. Mark sheets of all years/semesters of B.E/B.Tech
. CGPA to Percentage conversion proof (Optional)
. CAT Scorecard
. Experience Certificate (Joining letter and last salary slip would suffice)
. Sponsorship Certificate for sponsored candidates
. Caste/Disability Certificate (If applicable)
. Income proof (Only for SC/ST candidates if annual income is less than 4.5 lakhs)
. Printed payment receipt (2 copies of any one of the below)
----- Print of the payment receipt, generated in the portal at the time of form submission
----- Bank statement with transaction ID and name mentioned (NITIE or SBI Epay)
----- Debit/Credit card statement with transaction ID and name mentioned (NITIE or SBI Epay)
----- SMS Screenshot with name as SBI E-pay and the transaction ID
** Please be informed that in case you miss the 2 sets of photocopies of any of the above mentioned document, you will be among the last few in your slot to enter the GD/PI room.**
Seniors please help. My name is nitish saikia.My laptop and back up drive was stolen in the train yesterday. I lost my nitie application form;transaction number and call letter. I dont have the hard copies. I tried to log in but the portal is closed .what should i do? My interview is on 7th at 11 .please help. Have i lost the opportunity to attend
the process?
Are there any cheap hotels near NITIE. All the hotels that I see are charging Rs. 3000+.
@Rd721 I have SMS for NITIE payment (I have screen shot and print of the same). But it does not have transaction ID. I have interview on Monday. It is not possible to get my passbook printed. (I don't have it.) I don't use net banking for tht account so I don't have estatement even. What shall I do? And will you be providing parking for bike? It would be easy for me then.

Whats the maximum time that can be expected for the completion of a process?? if someone has a flight to catch , is a request to appear the GD/PI in the first batch of a slot entertained? Whats the process ?? I can visit to make my case the earlier day if such requests are entertained.
