"In view of the Covid-19 Corona Virus outbreak, the advisories received from the central / state government and World Health Organization, the IIM Shillong PGP admission process at Bangalore scheduled during 21-25 March 2020 is postponed till further notice." All the canditdates who have not had their interviews because of the COVID-19 crisis, will have their interviews conducted through video conferencing. The admissions committee has mulled over various aspects pertaining to the situation and have reached the conclusion that safety of the aspirants is of paramount importance and thus conducting physical interviews will not only jeopardize the aspriants' safety but will also put extra strain on the candidates. All the candidates (whose interviews have not been done hitherto) will receive the exact slots and timing by this week end. For information regarding the new weightage to the various components, you can refer to: https://www.iimshillong.ac.in/docs/Corrigendum%20%20to%20Admission%20policy.pdf (To remove any discrepancy from the process, the admissions committee has decided to remove any weightage to the GD part (as evident from the corrigendum). No candidate (whether they appeared physically or virtually for the interview process) will be marked on the GD part. This has been done to ensure that condign measures of fairness are maintained throughout the whole process.)
