Any general category guy who had converted NITIE and now, has converted FMS? Just want to have an idea of effect of FMS results on the waitlist movement.
Hi, It was mentioned that the classes will commence from June 26. Given the current situation is it even possible to start online classes on the tentative date? many final year engg students are not yet done with their end sem exams. AdCom members please clarify on this. I am a working professional and I need to buy out my notice period ,if the classes will start for sure from June 26 I can go ahead and talk to my manager about this. Some clarity on this will be helpful!! Thankyou.

Total intake this year in both the programmes?
I am a current student at Nitie Mumbai. I had many doubts last year and I know the current joining batch will also have it. Hence I am trying to answer a few of the doubts
1. 60% of the roles offered are SCM & Ops roles, even the consulting roles are also operations consulting
2. 30 % roles are IT systems and business analyst roles
3. IT products role almost zero
4. Rest 10% of roles are finance, S&M, etc etc
5. Average package is very good, definitely better than IIM Indore, Kozhikode and almost equivalent to Lucknow (But not roles)
6. No doubt that it is the best college in India for SCM, All top companies SCM roles open for Nitie Students
7. Infrastructure is very average but the new director is working on that
8. Batch strength is not 300, it is almost 480 as students from gate also sit for the placement
9. Peers of PGDIM is very good but I won't comment on the other courses
10. Faculty quality is very pathetic except few
11. Almost all eCommerce companies recruit from Nitie
12. SCM roles are not considered as attractive roles in the corporates

Hierarchy of misleading content: Engineering kar lo fir chill hai Placements ke baad aram hoga .. . . . .. . Go for IIT (for MBA), it's a brand. 😂 Anyone who has been to IITs knows the reality of the last statement. Alumni network of IITians is only helpful for btech students. Mtech and MBA students are looked down upon as second grade backdoor entry guys. Sorry if I have offended anyone. And one more thing those who matter will keep MDI, NITIE, IIFT above all IITs and those who don't matter will ask "IIT me MBA hota hai ?? Engineering ke liye hai na woh toh" Long and short of "brands" for you. Still people who want to make the waitlist move by dubious means do have their licence to say anything.

Hi Adcom Team, As per the refund policy if we withdraw post 26th June the refund will depend upon if there is someone there to fill our vacancy. I have converted and paid up for PGDIM. So in case I withdraw, with a minor charge, somebody from PGDISEM should naturally be upgraded right? Or do I need to drop any specific mail?
How many lists will come in total apart from original list?

If we talk about the roles that has been offered to NITIE, can anyone compare the roles with other comparable IIMs (Like K, I, or other Colleges)
Can any of the admins please address the queries of students? What is the rationale behind starting classes from June 26 when there is a nation wide lockdown in containment zones till June 30 and half of us are not able to get a release from companies. We can neither move home, not go anywhere. How do they expect us to study for final year exams (for freshers), or work for a company and at the same time just study in NITIE. This is really ridiculous. Every other admin group of college is quite responsive in this manner. We understand your plight but please do understand ours also. We have worked hard to do study in a B-School, why ruin the experience for us?
