How much is the offer acceptance fees? Is it the balance amt of50-10= 40k or ppl submit the entire 50k and apply for 10k WL refund?
Hello everyone! This is for those candidates who are in the wait-list and wondering how much amount will be deducted if they withdraw their willingness. I just had a talk with N Mahesh Kumar Sir, Senior Administrative Officer, Indian Institute of Management Sambalpur. According to him, If a candidate (who is in wait list) withdraws his/her willingness, then they will get a refund of 10k. Zero deduction. If a candidate (who has converted) doesn't wish to accept the offer and has not paid 40k yet, and withdraws their willingness, then also they will get a refund of 10k. Zero deduction. But, if you have paid 40k and then applying for refund then there might be some deduction which I am unaware of. Please feel free to cross check the above mentioned information by talking to N Mahesh Kumar Sir. And I urge Adcom members to stop spreading the misinformation regarding fee deduction of 1k. I don't know if you are doing it intentionally or not. But please get your facts straight. You are representing a prestigious institution so take your responsibilities a bit more seriously. Greetings! FYI Candidates who don't accept admission offer and withdraw, will be refunded the entire 10k waitlist willingness fees. And candidates who don't withdraw at all but don't get an admission offer till the end, will also be refunded 10k.
