Then one should not look to B-Schools for Packages.
They should look at it for self improvement. Infact , it is suggested for everyone.. :)

How much percentile should I expect in a very tough paper with attempts 13 in quants(correct=11) and 24 in section 2(around 20 correct)?
@avinashkrjha my CAT xam was on 28oct...n i did 18(quant), 17-19(lang) in total 36 approx..n every question of my quant is correct and most of the question of other section also...
plz suggest me the college ..n can with these kind of attempt can i get a UBS..

You can expect anything around 88-92 %ile. But remember this is just an approximation you can go beyond even depending on normalization.

1. With 36 attempts and at least 90 % accuracy in the second section you can get a %ile around 88-92.
2. UBS cut off was 87 %ile last year so you definitely stand a chance.

During selection work-ex is not the only thing that is given priority. If your academics are strong then you can make up for the lost marks there. Also GD-PI has a huge weightage , try performing well there. Freshers have even converted UBS so you need not worry but your chances will definitely improve if your %ile is 90 and above.

All these colleges are equally good and masters of their own fields. NITIE is very good for operations and TISS is equally good for Human Resource. Decide what your interest lies in and take the call.

Please help me in deciding which all colleges to apply to?
@dna_lost Very good academic credentials. Considering that your accuracy stands around 85 percent you should be able to secure between 84-88 percentile. Apply to TAPMI, KJSOM, FORE, LBS, Welingkar, NIRMA, BIM-Trichy. All the best for your other exams and put in your best to excel in them.
