If you are confident of a score of 98/99 %ile , then you should def apply to SPJAIN and FMS.. !!

You can expect around 80%ile

Since you are a B-Tech from NIT-Surathkal, won't recommend colleges other than Top 25/30.

Suggest you to focus on SNAP/XAT/CMAT

@avinashkrjha does imt take in through xat as well..if so wat was the cut off...and in that case do we need to shed out extra money if we wanna apply both thru cat and xat?

@Virinder If you're expecting anything between 80-90%ile, I would sincerely advise you to reconsider your decision of doing MBA in HR. Target colleges with General MBA as for HR there's only a handful of good colleges like XLRI, TISS, MDI and SIBM. It doesn't make much sense applying to lower rung B-schools for HR specialization because you would never be working on strategic HR profile.
Instead, try for general MBA colleges which has been mentioned by Avinash. That would be more beneficial for you in the long run.

@tuhin.sarkar Sorry, I don't have much knowledge about XAT cutoff. Maybe someone who gave the XAT last year and applied to IMT could guide you on this.

Gave CAT on 3rd November in 3:15 slot.
My academics are:
10th : 84.17
12th: 77.6
B.E. : 52.34

Experience in IT(ERP) of 24 months.

My attempt is :

QA/DI: 17( 1 wrong)
VA/LR: 27(more than 90 percent accuracy i feel)

Could you guide me on which colleges to apply.
I am in a dilemma. I am also appearing for XAT, SNAP and NMIMS.

I would like to join in this academic session if I get a good college. I would like to have a specialization in finance, also have interest in operations, logistics.

I want overall holistic experience with great exposure with competent peers.

@kushalagg You can expect a percentile of around 95 - 97. Apply IITs, MDI, XIMB, SPJAIN, NITIE. As you have inclination for finance, apply to MFC also. All the best. :)
